nice video. noticed the deflector plate is backwards. concave side should be pointed out, not in towards the flash

Watched a couple of your videos, which are really good with brilliant shots, I love the subtleness of the lighting even on your more contrasts shots. They are not that almost painful contrast where half the face disappears, which is quite common with photographers less aware of lighting behaviours than yourselves. I do have a question though, it looks like you don't use any external power packs on your speedlights, is this purely for weight and manoeuvrability?
