olaf schmidt: "Couldn´t believe it, but it really worked for me. Before I started brushing my, hair everytime I went trough my hair with my hand I had about three hairs in my hand and my hair got thinner and thinner. Now after a few months of brushing it doesn´t matter how often I go trough my hair I can´t find a single hair in my hand. Thank you very much for this video. Didn´t think stopping hairloss could be so easy."

Hey Dimitri I have a question about headstands. Could you let us know in total how long we should be on our head each session when we do headstands and also if going beyond 30 seconds each headstand could cause damage to the blood vessels and brain. I have got to the point of doing each headstand for about a minute and rest for a minute, each session totalling 6 minutes on my head but I have started to feel kinda drowsy afterwards and my head feels a bit funny afterwards haha. Please let me know what’s you protocol and then we can make modifications. Thank you you are a great help Dimitri
Good question! I stand between 30 sec. to 3 min depending on how I feel each morning. I recommend that you go by how you feel afterwards instead of a specific time. Headstands are generally healthy for your blood vessels but you can do too much of it, as with anything. If you are feeling unwell, either reduce your time or take a break until you feel good again. All the best!
Well your theory maybe effective for mild cases and it ends there. There are many athletes in mma and wrestlers who have great circulation to their heads while doing neck exercises, rolling on the ground while grappling etc and they are still very bald. Just look at fedor emelianenko, randy couture and many others. As athletes they also eat healthy more than a regular Joe.Those who are genetically predisposed to balding have some other causes
Good point, but many also have great hair, Chael Sonnen for example. A lot of fighters also shave intentionally. Rolling on your head is not quite the same as regularly targeted brushing or massage. I know, I roll ;) Also, I would disagree a little that athletes eat healthy. Some do but many do not. They eat for performance and consume a lot of addictive that are often toxic. Again, I know several pro athletes. Lastly, athletes are now constantly exposed to toxic plastics and chemicals (often more than an average person) because all of their equipment and gear is made of it, from mouth guards and mats to gloves and water bottles, it's all plastic ...about which I have two separate videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=173TCgioyuc&list=PLc1JElvFHF_fjhHa7OlXnUwNg7pcRCPCP&index=4
i really hope this works man.. im 18 years old and so stressed and insecure about my hair at the moment and im desperate for help.. people always tell me you cant grow back your hair or make it thicker but then i come across videos like this and i just hope to god this actually works somehow..
That is a small factor but the blood circulation is the most important. Remember that u deactivate the blood stimulation which also includes D-Vitamin levels in ur blood which then rushes through the hair follicles ;)
I really enjoy watching and listening to you! I know your serious and I agree with everything you say but you make me laugh!!🤗Your Awesome!! Your very knowledgeable about a lot of things!!! Thank you!!👍
well i m starting from 17 march 2019 and i m going to run for 30 minutes for better blood circulation and then i will hang on a bar upside-down almost immediately. Also i aim to oil my hair everyday with coconut oil. btw i m going bald on 17
I must try harder it seems! I changed a lot of things in my life almost 3 years ago, but it seems it gets a little worse with now my crown thinning...
I do hairmassage since a few months now but my hair is too long to brush it like you did :) thinking about a derma roller now
Just curious, did you lose a lot of hair while massaging your scalp with the wooden brush?
I'm 3 days into trying this method and kinda freaked out lol. I'm also using Emu Oil, Green Tea Extract and eating a lot better. Hopefully it reverses.
+Tosho Kukata I eat medium amount of healthy dairy and grains. Dairy is mainly kefir and cheese. I very rarely drink milk. Prefer grains in the first half of the day (rice with turmeric and coconut oil is a good option). I do eat honey and stevia occasionally, no other sugars.
I've been experiencing what I would call visible thinning that became apparent 10 months ago or so. I had longer hair, around 4-5 " long on top, and every time I ran my hand through my hair, no matter how gently, I would always see a decent amount of hair falling out which was not the case always.
Around 4 months ago, I decided to start eating healthy, drinking healthy and exercising frequently. Not because of the hairloss, but because I felt like I was getting sick too often (2 winters in a row I was basically stuck with this lingering cold/pneumonia that would come on/off for like 3-4 months straight).
I used to probably drink a 2 liter soda bottle every two days, that'a a liter of soda a day, barely any actual water, shit ton of just pure junk food and top top it off, I was eating fast food. My metabolism was stronger a couple of years back, so I was able to keep the fat off of my body. But then came a time where the weight started coming on and that was a motivating factor as well.
Totally stopped drinking soda, started drinking strictly water everyday, no other liquids basically. Stopped eating any form of shitty food, started preparing my own breakfast, lunch and dinner meals and started paying attention to calorie intakes along with other nutritional information. Started eating more fruits and exercising daily (burpees in the morning, strength training 3-4 times a week and running). I lost around 8 lbs in the first week just by cutting out junk food and soda, at around 2 months my loss was like 20 pounds and now I'm at a consistent healthy and lean weight 157lbs (-24 lbs).
In my unhealthy phase, I was able to run my hands through my hair in the shower and within 30 seconds I could count like 20 or so hairs on my hands. Now, I seem to struggle finding a single one. Also, after thinking that I acquired some kind of a chronic sickness condition that was going to occur every winter, as it did start the past 2 winters around November, it's already end of January and i'm feeling extremely well.
Thanks for your video and your insight. I'll try the head massage and the headstand to see if it works.

I've been noticing a lot of baby hair around my hairline lately (I swear they were never there months ago). These are the things that worked for me:
1.) Drink water (3 liters a day for me and my skin has never been more hydrated)
2.) Essential oils (coconut, castor, neem oil) every wednesday and sunday
3.) Sleep 7 hours per night at the VERY LEAST
4.) Scalp massage (do NOT use your fingernail but the tip of your fingers instead)
5.) Work out (I wear a beenie during cardio to prevent hairfall 'cause I dance like the rent is due lol). Also I sit through my mat and just do pilates and yoga to increase blood flow.
6.) No fap (my hairfall stopped when I started doing this challenge which was very hard at first lol)
7.) Organic shampoo (the shampoo I'm using is not available in the market and it's formulated with essential oils made by medical specialists in my country). Also I only use conditioner every wednesday and sunday when I put oil in my hair.
8.) Avoid stress. I've always been VERY conscious about this knowing that it's the number 1 cause of aging in general. What I do is I just STOP overthinking and just think of happy thoughts. Also I watch movies and series A LOT so I am always 'destressing' in a way.
9.) Avoid junk food. I eat a lot of natural food like fish (mackerel, tuna, etc), white rice, vegetables, fruits as well as fruit juice (especially orange and carrot juice)!
Now I do all these things religiously every single day. I've been doing these for two weeks now and I'm just not only growing my hairline, but my skin is also glowing and I just feel happy everyday. Defying genetics is easier with discipline.
i use conditioner everyday but use shampoo 2-3 times whenever i oil my hair... i also put onion juice with oil to help me stop balding. i'm 14 and im thining and my hairling is really bad so yeah im freaking myself out
Started this myself a month ago, and while my hair hasn't noticeably changed yet, I think there is something to this. Mainly, I think my scalp, especially the areas showing the most significant reduction of hair, is clogged with sebum and potentially other things such as fibrosis! I notice when doing the massage with a brush, the scalp with the most balding is very tight and sensitive. Also, I have never been one to have dandruff, but after the massage the brush is covered in a white almost greasy substance! I imagine it's sebum that's been clogging up pores in my scalp. While it's been only about a month, my scalp seems like it's slowly getting less sensitive and the skin is feeling less stretched and taught on the top of my head. I'm hopeful that in 6 months to a year I'll see a difference, but I'm not going into it expecting it to work. I've already been shaving my head for years so if it doesn't work, o well, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Thanks for the video and information! I'll report back if I see a difference!
+Danny Le I've noticed my hair does look a bit thicker on top, but it's definitely not anywhere near a full head of hair yet. The biggest issues are the widows peak area and top of head, the hair is so far gone/thin there, I'm not sure if/when it will come back. I'm gonna try to stick to it for the rest of the year though. I saw a study that showed scalp massage did improve hair thickness after 24 weeks, so I'm about halfway there!
Something you might want to try that I do, I have a body massager I lay on the edge of the bed with my head hanging over the bed on my back so I have blood flow going to my head, you know using gravity. I put my hand on my head so the palm faces towards my head and then I put the massager on top of my hand so the vibration goes through my hand and it vibrates my scalp and it actually feels pretty good, you can feel the tingle and you just keep moving your hand around to different sections of your scalp. I don’t put the massager directly on my scalp, your hand kind of cushions the vibrations that goes through your hand.I do this for about 15 minutes a night. You have to give it time because your hair doesn’t grow but an eighth to maybe a quarter of an inch a month. And like I said make sure you hang your head over the bed lying on your back so you get good blood flow to your scalp. Hey it’s worth a try, I feel it works for me.
Anyone here have pain/irritation even when softly massaging the crown of the head? I'm using both the organic wooden brush with rounded tips and the cellulite brush, 5-10 minutes a day and I'm doing it gently - I'm 4 days in and I'm noticing pain/increased sensitivity in the crown of my head... is this normal when starting out or am I doing something wrong?
A number of people have written to me saying that they initially had some discomfort during brushing but it eventually went away. Is your skin damaged in any way? Try decreasing to 1 min in the morning and 1 in the evening. If this is still an issue, try brushing every second day. Also, check your skin with a doctor to make sure you don't have some sort of a condition. Hope this helps.
Filtered. Read: https://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/bottled-water-microplastics-1.4575045 ...As for your other question. One solution is to wake up earlier and drink half of the water in the morning. Then when you get back, drink the other half. I get up at 4:30 AM, drink my 2.5L within an hour and then I'm good for the day.
Sure. Just search eBay or Amazon for wooden massage brush: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw==wooden+massage+brush and also watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=173TCgioyuc&list=PLc1JElvFHF_fjhHa7OlXnUwNg7pcRCPCP&index=5&t=1s
I read in the comments about green tea and stinging nettle blocking DHT which is a hormone causing hair loss and excess sebum production (acne) which I struggle with. I went down a rabbit hole today and researched a lot. This site was extremely helpful; none of which was mentioned in this video and below are the products I ordered today after five hours of reading and searching for the highest quality, most user friendly options:
Planetary Herbals Freeze-Dried Stinging Nettles 420mg - 120 Tablets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001G3OZ9C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Zpm5BbDXWPXRE
Nettle Oil 2 ounce bottle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XZFJM96/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_kqm5BbSSVRNJ0
The site was very useful too:
A diet high in SUGAR and chemicals combined with a lack of vitamins makes it challenging for the body to control the production of DHT. A healthy diet eliminates excess DHT from the body so that it cannot cause hair loss. So STOP eating all sugar/glucose as possible (including fruits) and high glycemic foods (high in carbs).
Quick update for any of you who are trying this out.
I have been doing it from 10(day)/09(month)/2018 and I went from losing 40-50 hairs per brushing to 20-35.
So don't expect it to grow back in a month but you will surely see some progress.
Anyways I have to thank you again Dmitry for your technique.
how long does it take to stop hair loss with your method? I'm in it for 2-3 weeks combined with peppermint and rosemary oil and I experienced the following: after the first few days the hair I found in the brush reduced a lot. Now I shed a lot again, BUT I think the small hair on my forehead became a bit thicker and longer. Is this normal?
i have another question: i realized that the circle of a hair is 4 month. that means that like if you have a lot of stress 4 months ago' eat a lot of shity food and noy exercise- the bad results happening rigt now, and you lose a lot of hair... thts true?
cuase it would really be comforting, beacuse now i do your routine, and sadly i dont see any results
Human body does have cyclical processes that can impact hair loss. Further research is necessary. Regarding my method and result, it took me about 6 months to stop hair loss and another 6 to regrow. Long-term consistency is the key to health.
Good question. In such situations you need to test and experiment. Try washing your hair everyday for two weeks and then washing it every 2nd or 3rd day for two weeks. Keep a log and note any changes. Let me know how it goes. All the best!
HA! You are complaining about one of the most popular hair loss videos on YouTube with never before seen techniques [prior to 2015] that helped thousands. Check your testosterone, it may be a little low. You're triggered very easily.
That is actually how I came to Dmitry's video, from yours aanghel. I just did the brush thing and I can feel my pulse in my scalp, I had only just started thinning out but not significantly and so this is coming at a good time. I was already starting to look at things like iRestore so I'm really grateful. What really got me excited is that the scalp stops feeling weak, like you could just pull out a hair. It really bothers me, so I'm chuffed. Thanks again to the both of you!
I might also start doing onion juice and then head stands just to make sure the scalp is in the best condition.
I have been doing your techniques for 5 days now and have one question.
I am losing about 40-45 hair follicles every time I brushing my hair, is this normal in the begging and if it is how long will it last?
Because I'm noticing my hair is getting thinner faster. Maybe I'm just panicking for no reason.
I lost around 20-30 when I started but I understood that if the hair is so weak that it falls out after brushing, it will fall out soon anyway. I did not worry because as weak hair fell out, new, stronger hair regrew. That was my experience. Today when I brush I lose about 0-10 hairs.
APPRECIATE THIS GUY'S EFFORT BUT IF YOU WANT A NEW SCIENTIFIC ANSWER...Go to www.BornAgainHair.com to learn about a totally NEW and proven science which finally explains the whole hair loss syndrome and identifies the real MAIN cause and how to treat it using NO DRUGS, NO LOTIONS and NO SURGERY.
Do not waste your time or your money on any of the OLD failed ideas... THEY DO NOT WORK. This NEW and LOGICAL method is the big « BUZZ » on all the HAIR LOSS forums
This NEW science explains that all the OLD systems have FAILED because they targeted only DHT . It identifies the true MAIN cause of HAIR LOSS and says DHT is a « secondary » factor which only becomes a bad thing for your hair when this MAIN cause is not first addressed and remedied. Easy to understand, simple ‘‘LAYMAN’S’’ logic.
Do not waste any more time or thousands of dollars with the OLD failed systems and give this a try. There are already over 20,000 people on this method with a reported success rate of over 95% …it is also the LEAST EXPENSIVE system available and it really, really works.
Check out the very amateur ACADEMIC looking website at www.BornAgainHair.com and do what it says…you will not be disappointed again.
The Best Hair-loss treatment regimen in 2018 is 1:Diet (think anti-inflammatory based such as a plant-based raw food diet).Inflammation is the most common thing in all balding scalps so decreasing inflammation is essential. 2: Detumescence therapy(Scalp Massages) - to break up the fibrosis and calcified tissue. 3: A DHT blocking & Anti-inflammatory Hair-oil that will work to help clear out DHT buildup and Eliminate Inflammation in the sebum layer of the scalp. See here: https://www.amazon.com/EternaGrow-Natural-Blocker-Stimulant-Topical/dp/B079P8BNFG/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1534630442&sr=8-1&keywords=eternagrow
Judge by your own physical condition. Safety must come first. That being said, in my opinion, every healthy human being should be able to do a headstand. People that could not, wrote to me that they use inversion tables. Check them out. As a male, you should be happy to have high testosterone, it's more important than hair. Lastly, get on the path of healthy food and lifestyle. Try fasting and detoxing your body, and most importantly don't worry so much about your hair. All the best!
Oh, ok. I know you are really busy but i have a question. Im 18 years old, and i started losing hair, probably because of my gens( my father is bald) I never had a good quality hair, and i knew the day will come when it will starts falling off, but i expected it to be at age 30 idk.. Also im really tall, 196cm. Maybe the circulation is the problem or maybe too much of hormone DHT, not sure if you are aware what that is. So, is it safe for me to do perform a head stand? I tried but its really hard for me. Any tips?
