Simple RCD(ELCB) Trip Tester

03:30
This device tests the integrity of the ELCB. An Earth-leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) is a safety device used in electrical installations with high Earth impedance to prevent shock. It detects small stray voltages on the metal enclosures of electrical equipment, and interrupts the circuit if a dangerous voltage is detected. Once widely used, more recent installations instead use residual current circuit breakers which instead detect leakage current directly.

12ga. Camping Trip Alarms - Unusual shell loads!

12:37
We put the Fith Ops perimeter alarms to test. I loaded up some shells with chili powder, glitter, fireworks, etc. just for fun. These are legal, even in the weenie state of California. Why? Because they are just noise makers. They don't have a chamber or a barrel like a firearm. These are made to set up around your campsite to scare off bears or other intruders, but not harm them. Icu: Ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity. Ics: service short-circuit breaking capacity. * I test what parameters (voltage vs current) affect the overload protection of a circuit. * I demonstrate the instantaneous breaking / tripping capability of a circuit breaker on an oscilloscope under various loads. * I show circuit beakers that are designed to cater for electric motor start-up inrush current with an adjustable instantaneous trip setting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuit_breaker#Standard_current_ratings Understanding Electric shock / Electrocution: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_shock ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My website and forum:- http://www.mjlorton.com Donations and contributions:- http://www.mjlorton.com My techie channel MJLorton - Solar Power and Electronic Measurement Equipment - http://www.youtube.com/MJLorton My Techie Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.com/m0711-20 My other channel VBlogMag - For almost any topic under the sun! - http://www.youtube.com/VBlogMag My VBlogMag Amazon Store: http://astore.amazon.com/vblogmag-20 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ =================================================== Video sponsor, Pass Ltd - their websites: At checkout use the discount / promotion code "mjlorton" for 5% off. http://www.tester.co.uk/?cmid=QmhzQjcxYjVlc1E9&afid=bFcwbzliNzVDc289&ats=K2EyUjZNTDh3UTA9 - Test Equipment and Test-meter suppliers and http://www.calibrate.co.uk/?cmid=QmhzQjcxYjVlc1E9&afid=bFcwbzliNzVDc289&ats=S3Yxd2tOMjVISzA9 - Calibration and service of test equipment =================================================== $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Bitcoin (BTC) Donations: 1K7PeF55e7ssE7W3WVCoa7c4j2PHzy6ASv $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ********************************************************************************** Music clip from Youtube Music Library - Phase Three by Huma-Huma **********************************************************************************

Earth Leakage Trip...Here's what to do. (RCD)

08:18
This is a short video to show you what to do when the Earth leakage in your house trips. This could safe you some money as I get called out allot only to find that it is an appliance or lead that is causing the earth leakage to trip. Step 1: Remove all plugs and adapters from sockets. Step 2: Try and find one breaker that's causing the earth leakage tripping Step 3: Remove the wires from the earth leakage unit to test that it's working like it should. Step 4: Remove the neutral wire one at a time and test after each wire is removed. This will narrow down the particular circuit causing the tripping. Electricity is dangerous. BE VERY CAREFUL Not all countries have earth leakages. Some are still using fuses which South Africa moved away from some 30years+ ago.

Top 5 Things You Should Never do on a Long Motorcycle Trip!

09:10
Learn from other riders Mistakes! Motorcycle Touring Mistakes. Some people never learn from other riders mistakes, but I will be positive as usual and I really hope that you will listen with open minds. I don’t have any goals to correct you, teach you or change you I just want to help you. N: 1 – Never ride fast. I said this so many times, but I will do it again. I don’t know why everybody wants to have these big, fast and powerful bikes, 100, 120, 150 h.p. On a long motorcycle trip you need constant not top speed. It is much better to be very strict instead of fast rider. If you ride with 100km/h and stopping once per 2 hours, you will cover more km for short period of time than if you ride with 140km/h and stop every hour. Yes, of course if you travel with 140 and stop once per two hours you will be fast, but how many of you are able to do this day after day without risking to have speed tickets, to make accident or a navigation mistake. You can make it on the German highways, because there are no speed limits, but to be honest this is the last place I want to go when I travel with my motorcycle. N: 2 – Never ride with top case. I am sure that many riders will attack me now, because they love their top cases, but as usual I will try to convince you to leave it home The top cases are great to ride in the City, to store all of your stuff, even the helmet in, but on the long trip they are pain the ass. After many riding days you will need to change some bolts on it, to fix the broken holder or subframe. If you plan off road section it’s almost guaranteed that you will break it or lose at all. N: 3 - Never load spare tires with you. They are too big and too heavy. In the best scenario they will weights about 10kg. If you have big adventure bike maybe more. Because if the shape they have you need to put it on the top of your bags, or on both sides of your hard cases or saddle bags. In both cases you will have difficult access to the stuff on it and every time when you need something you have to remove it. Also, as I said they are too heavy and you need to tight them really well, but because of the weight they will move all the time and you need to stop and re tight it again and again N: 4 – Never rely only on your smart phone GPS. Smart phones are great and we love it. In this small device you can upload 3-4 different options, like google maps, Here, City go and so on. They are much easier to use than the standard GPS or paper maps. That’s right, they are, but when they work. The batteries of the smart phones died very quick. The power from the outlets helps, but not always. Sometimes, when you use the GPS internet and phone at the same time, the 12V charger cannot really recover the battery. Maybe keep it in some level, but not fully charged. On the sunny days visibility is not good, which makes the riding more difficult. Another good reason is that the smart phones overheat pretty quickly, usually when you really need it. You can have it as a backup option, but never rely only on it. The simple, cheap GPS will work ten times better than your fancy and expensive smart phone N: 5 – Never go with loud open exhaust. It might sound cool when you ride around your neighbourhood, but you will definitely regret on the long trip. When you have to spend many days with all of that sound you will come to the conclusion which I just gave you and it’s not only for you, it will be the same for the riders behind you. Make sure that it has at least DB killer and Euro stamp on it. In many counties, especially in Europe, police might stop you, charge you some money and even not let you to ride your bike with this exhaust. Top 10 Accessories you Should Have on a Long Motorcycle Trip

06:05
What you must have on a long motorcycle trip? Motorcycle touring. Hello Riders, if you still wondering what to take with you, what are the necessary items that you going to need, you came to the right place. In this video I am going to talk about the top 10 accessories you should have on a motorcycle trip. 1. Tank bag Many riders don’t have it, but for me, this is the most useful bag you can have on a trip. Inside I keep only the important things. Usually the staff which I use all the time like my GPS, camera, maps and some cables. Some of my friends said that they don’t need it, because they have top case. That’s ok, but on the long trip, especially if you have some rough terrains or off road, the top case could cause you many problems. From unexpected shakings and vibrations to bended or even broken subframe. 2. Heated grips About it I am sure that that everybody will agree with me. Once you have it will be difficult to travel without it in the future. Yes, if you live in a hot area is different story, but if you have plans to ride the world, you will definitely need it. 3. 12 V mini USB socket This small items usually cost nothing, compare to the rest of the accessories, but they are very important to keep your electronic devices working. There are thousands of models on the market, the brand or the shape it doesn’t really matter, whatever you like. I will recommend to have at least two in your luggage. They weight nothing, but it’s easy to forget or lose it. 4. Bluetooth Well, to have this device it’s such a pleasure. I never really connect my phone or lessen radio, but it’s priceless for communication with your riding friend or pylon. When you have your Bluetooth it’s like a whole new world. The only problem with these devices is that you get addicted it will be very hard to travel without after that. 5. Volt meter I highly recommend having one of these. It will give you the chance constantly to monitoring the condition of your alternator and battery. In the case of possible fails you will know it earlier and you could prevent it. 6. Thermometer When you travel with motorcycle, the weather is something very important. When you have it on your bike, you will know what clothes you need in the curtain temperature. For example under 18 degrees you need to have your warm linings. Above 25, you need to take off the long sleeves and many like that. Two degrees up or down make a huge difference in your riding comfort. 7. Pin lock This basically its anti-fog lens, attached inside of your visor. If your helmet have it great, if not you can by universal and mounted. Riding with a fogged up helmet visor can be really annoying and dangerous. You will understand it first time when you have to ride on cold days or in the rain. Get one of these and you will never regret. 8. Camel back When you ride motorcycle, your body consume double more water. It’s very important to drink enough, especially if it’s hot. Some of you will disagree and will say that simple bottle will be the same, but it’s not really like that. With camel bag you will have water all the time and this will give you possibility to drink water even while you ride. With bottle it’s different story. Sometimes, you have ride many hours without stopping, traffic, bad weather, not proper place to stop or many similar circumstances. It’s very easy to dehydrate yourself without even notice it. 9. Air compressor or pump. As you know sometimes the shit just happens. Air compressor or just simple pump could safe your ass in many situations. Always keep one with you. You don’t need to learn it the hard way. 10. Visor cleaner When you are a long ride, especially I the summer you smash a lot of flies and mosquitoes with your helmet. Theoretically you can clean your visor with anything, even with water. That’s right, but sometimes I skip it because I don’t have water at the moment. The visor cleaner has alcohol in and clean much better. It’s usually comes in small bottles and you can keep it even in your pocket. Circuit Breaker Trip

01:28
https://finanhomeservice.com/electrical/ Your electrical panel is the heart of your home's electrical system. Power comes in from the utility lines outside, and then it's distributed throughout your home by passing through the circuit breakers. When a circuit breaker trips, it's acting as a safety device to protect your electrical panel from an electrical overload. Electrical overloads could cause damage to appliances, and ultimately result in a fire. What creates an electrical overload? Well, the most likely reason is that you have too much plugged in to one outlet. If a circuit breaker trips, try to reset it by turning it to the Off position, and then back to the On position. Do this only once. This is important. Don't keep resetting a circuit breaker. If it trips again, it's trying to tell you there's a problem with that line and it needs to be fixed. In rare circumstances, a circuit breaker will malfunction and not trip immediately or at all. Warning signs include warm outlets, a buzzing sound from your electrical panel, flickering lights, or even a burning smell. Call a licensed electrician immediately, as a fire is a possibility. If you have questions about tripping circuits, or would like to schedule an appointment, give us a call. We'll be happy to help you out.

How to chek RCCB/ELCB trip in hindi।। electric safety।।ट्रिप कैसे कराये

02:23
#safety Purpose of RCCB/ELCB Residual Current Circuit Breakers are aimed at protecting an individual from the risks of electrical shocks, electrocution and fires that are caused due to faulty wiring or earth faults. RCCB is particularly useful in situations where there is a sudden earth fault occurring in the circuit. e.g. A person accidentally comes in contact with an open live wire in the circuit. In such situation, in absence of an RCCB in the circuit, an earth fault may occur and the person is at the risk of receiving an electrical shock. However, if the same circuit is protected with RCCB, it will trip the circuit in fraction of a second thus preventing the person from receiving an electrical shock. Therefore, it is a good and safe practice to install RCCB in your electrical circuit. हमेशा rccb और elcb को टेस्ट करते रहना चाहिए ताकि सुरक्षा बनी रहे।।

Keeping People Living with Dementia Safe from Trips & Falls, Safe & Well

08:05
This video is aimed at families, friends, carers of people living with dementia and organisations that work with anyone living with dementia. The video follows Sue & Pete (daughter & dad) and shows the main risks of falls posed to Pete on his journey with dementia and provides solutions to help to reduce the likelihood of a fall. Nationally it is recognised that Dementia increases the risks of falls and people living with dementia are 4 times more at risk of falling than people of a similar age who do not have dementia because of how dementia can affect them. South Yorkshire Dementia Action Alliances (SYDAA) is an umbrella structure bringing together the four local Dementia Action Alliances (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield) and South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue (SYFR) to work in partnership and deliver the Dementia Fire & Home Safety Project. The emphasis of the project is to: Preserve the independence and identity of people living with dementia; and enable people to live well with dementia safely in their own home for as long as possible.

Filmed in Vicenza, Italy Copyright Mark Wolters 2016 The Don'ts of Italy 1. Don't expect to get discount prices on fancy Italian luxury brands. 2. Don't eat near tourist sights. You will be ripped off and not get as good of Italian food as you would away from the tourist sights. 3. Don't Tip. They already charge you for service. 4. You Don't have to scream louder to get people to understand you. 5. Don't worry about overdressing, the Italians will always look better than you. 6. Don't just visit Rome and Venice, there is so much more to Italy. 7. Don't share your pizza and make sure you do eat it with your fork and knife. 8. Don't use the fast trains for short distances, they are not worth the significantly higher prices. 9. Don't expect to see spaghetti and meatballs on the menu TOGETHER. They will be there separately, but not together. 10. Don't expect a big breakfast in Italy. Just coffee and a cookie. 11. Don't overpack. You will be limited on space when traveling in Italy so pack accordingly. 12. Slow RCD trip

00:09
Here is a good example of why it is important to test your Residual Current Safety Devices every three months using the test button. RCD's save lives. However they can become faulty and not function as they should. When working correctly they should turn off the power in under 40 milliseconds, here it took approximately 3 seconds. This puts people's lives at serious risk. Please test safety switches in your home or investment property and get a qualified electrician to make any repairs. For more accurate testing and safety compliance reports please call Mancini Electrical on 0415534398.

Visit The Netherlands - What to Know Before You Visit The Netherlands

12:12
Read the Blog for More Information on The Netherlands: https://woltersworld.com/all-the-little-things-to-know-before-you-visit-the-netherlands/ Heading to The Netherlands & Not Sure What to Expect? Well here we go through the top things that tourists should know when they visit The Netherlands. 1. It is The Netherlands, Not Holland. Holland is the name of two counties in The Netherlands. 2. The language of The Netherlands is Dutch, but as a tourist you really do not need to know any Dutch as the Dutch speak English extremely well throughout the country. 3. The Euro is the currency in The Netherlands and you can find ATMs all over the country. Credit cards are widely accepted as well. 4. The Netherlands is a small country with a very well developed transportation network. Therefore you can easily take trains all over the country in a fast and efficient way. Make sure you tap in and out with your tickets as you enter your platforms. 5. Biking is a very popular pastime and way to get around Dutch cities. There are a number of bike rental agencies throughout The Netherlands. Look for one near a train station and rent a bike for the day to explore, or sign up for one of the numerous bike tours around the country. 6. The Netherlands is rather safe for tourists. Do take care with pickpockets and extremely aggressive beggars in Amsterdam's more popular areas. The bike line is for bikes only so watch out unless you want to get hit by a bike and yelled at by a local. 7. Drugs bring a lot of tourists to Amsterdam and the Dutch/German border. If you are going to The Netherlands to experiment with soft drugs make sure you go to a "Coffee House" they have menus and trained personnel that can help travelers. We do not recommend you do drugs and highly discourage travelers from doing this. However, we do know a number of tourists do go there for that. So please be safe, and speak with the coffee shop attendant about your previous experiences so they can help you. 9. The best things about the Netherlands are the quaint cities and towns like Haarlem, Leiden, Groningen, as well as the larger cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The architecture and museums throughout the country really are outstanding. And yes you will see quite a few windmills as you explore The Netherlands. 10. The food is hearty in The Netherlands, make sure you try a bitter ballen or a traditional pancake or herring from one of the stalls. The market and food halls have tons of great treats for travelers. There are numerous international restaurants all over The Netherlands as well. 11. The Netherlands is not a cheap place to visit, however the prices are on par with the US & other major European destinations. Amsterdam accomodation will be your biggest expense. Therefore you may want to stay outside of Amsterdam to have a cheaper and more Dutch experience.
