https://www.expedia.com/Hong-Kong.d178263.Destination-Travel-Guides Hong Kong, a former British territory, is one of the most densely populated places in China and in the world. You’ll find quiet neighborhoods full of temples and a dazzling skyline loaded with shopping and dining opportunities. Your Hong Kong tour must include visits to the many religious sites scattered around the city, where incense wafts from shrines and monasteries take over entire hillsides. You’ll have a marvelous time shopping in tax-free Hong Kong, where you’ll be able to find clothing, jewelry, furniture, and everything else under the sun. Don’t forget about Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, which overlooks the stunning Victoria Harbor. From there, your Hong Kong sightseeing may detour to Central, the city’s main business district, which looks like something out of a sci-fi film. The observation deck atop the International Commerce Centre will show you fantastic views of the city. Macau Travel Guide - Macao Day Trip from Hong Kong

16:54
Come join us for a day trip from Hong Kong (香港) as we visit Macau covering the best things to do in one day in our Macau Travel Guide (澳門 - 澳门). We started off our day waking up early in Hong Kong to get to the ferry terminal to take a TurboJET ferry to Macao. *Important* remember to take your passport as you're crossing one special administration region in China to another (Hong Kong to Macau) and you'll need to go through immigration on both sides (it doesn't take long). After arriving we took free transportation (provided by the casinos and hotels) to check out the Venetian Casino and Parisian Hotel. Then we were off to Taipa to mostly eat Macau street food and enjoy the old colonial architecture. We then made our way to Senado Square, the ruins of St. Paul's and Forte Monte while munching on plenty of Macanese street food before heading back to Hong Kong on a TurboJET ferry. As you can see you can do a lot in just one day in Macau but a few things we didn't get to do included gambling at casinos, going up Macau Tower or checking out the A-Ma temple. For more of the things we missed out on but are worth considering doing in Macau see our two lists below. Things to do in Macau Travel Guide: 1) TurboJET Ferry ride from Hong Kong to Macau (噴射飛航) which takes approximately one hour - 00:15 2) Visiting the Venetian Macao (澳門威尼斯人度假村酒店) luxury hotel and casino resort - 02:36 3) Visiting the Parisian (Chinese: 澳門巴黎人) luxury hotel in Cotai, Macau, China - 03:30 4) Visiting Taipa Houses–Museum (龍環葡韻住宅式博物館 - Casas-Museu da Taipa) - 04:13 5) Visit Taipa (氹仔) to eat street food in Macau and wander around - 05:05 6) Macau egg pudding - 05:31 7) Macau Pork Chop Bun (豬扒包) - 06:49 8) Portuguese style Macau egg tart (蛋撻 - 蛋挞) also known as Pastel de nata - 07:39 9) Free shuttle by from the casino hotels - 09:00 10) Senado Square (Largo do Senado - 議事亭前地) town square - 10:04 11) Ruins of St. Paul's (大三巴牌坊) - 11:22 12) Macau honey glazed pork jerky (豬肉乾) - 12:03 13) Macau almond cookies or biscuits (杏仁餅) - 13:25 14) Macanese Bubble tea with taro (波霸奶茶) - 14:24 15) Macao Museum or Macau Museum (澳門博物館 - Museu de Macau) - 15:26 16) Monte Fort (Fortaleza do Monte - 大炮台) - 15:44 17) TurboJET ferry ride from Macau (澳門 - 澳门) back to Hong Kong (香港) - 16:29 Things to do in Macau that we didn't have time for on our day trip 1) Gambling at the casinos in Macau 2) Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre (澳門旅遊塔會展娛樂中心) for views of Macau 3) A-Ma Temple (媽閣廟) 4) Grand Prix Museum (大賽車博物館) 5) Drink Portuguese wine 6) Macau Fisherman's Wharf (澳門漁人碼頭) 7) Macau Wine Museum (葡萄酒博物馆 - Museu do Vinho) GEAR WE USE Olympus OM-D E-M5 II: http://amzn.to/1OchS7t Canon G7X: http://amzn.to/1YdjsYX Olympus 14-150mm II Lens: http://amzn.to/1Y79zeM Rode Video Mic GO: http://amzn.to/1WDKtVM Joby Gorilla Pod: http://amzn.to/1PgoY5F SanDisk 16GB Extreme Pro: http://amzn.to/25KEErs SOCIAL MEDIA & TRAVEL BLOGS AUDREY: blog: http://thatbackpacker.com/ instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatbackpacker/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thatbackpacker twitter: https://twitter.com/ThatBackpacker SAMUEL: blog: http://nomadicsamuel.com/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nomadicsamuel twitter: https://twitter.com/NomadicSamuel instragram: https://www.instagram.com/nomadicsamuel/ Our visit Macau travel guide documentary covers some of the top attractions including a food guide (best restaurants and street food), top museums and Macau at night and by day. Hong Kong Travel Tips: 11 Things to Know Before You Go

21:01
11 things YOU need to know before you go to Hong Kong. A comprehensive travel guide to bring you up to speed on the Weather, Language, Getting Around, and more! Hong Kong was originally a British Colony founded in 1842, taken over by China in 1997. Hong Kong’s Official Name is the “Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong.” In Chinese Hong Kong Means “Fragrant Harbor.” Hong Kong is Famous for Skyscrapers (it has 8,000 of them), but 40% of it’s land is park and nature preserve Hong Kong has 3 main areas, Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories But in total it has 263 islands 2 - Weather Hong Kong's climate is sub-tropical, with temperatures dropping below 10 degrees Celsius in winter and exceeding 31 degrees Celsius in summer Pretty humid all year round May to November is typhoon season June & August are the wettest January and December are the dryest 3. Getting In Likely flying in to Hong Kong International Airport - HKG. It’s on Lantau Island, and its HUGE! The size of 20 soccer fields. You can fly to almost anywhere in the world from Hong Kong (more than 100 airlines operate 1,100 daily flights to and from 190 destinations worldwide) Cathay Pacific is Hong Kong’s home airline and has won “World’s Best Airline” four times – more than any other. Airport Express train to Central - Its just 24 minutes, and leaves every 10 minutes You can buy a round trip airport Express and Octopus card for 3 days unlimited MTR for $350 Taxi one way to Hong Kong Island would be about $400 HKD and take 45 mins to an hour 4. Unlucky This number omitted because it’s unlucky. 4 in Chinese sounds like the word for “Death.” Most buildings typically omit this floor. 5. Getting Around By public transit—it's efficient, clean, and affordable First things first, buy an Octopus Card -- It works on almost everything, even to get you in to the Hong Kong Horse Racetrack MTT - Subway Star Ferry - About $3 HKD, Upper Deck & Weekends cost a bit more. Tram - Ding Ding - $2.60 Double Decker Bus Mini Bus Taxi - Relatively inexpensive, but can be hard to hail during rush hour, or a rainy day, or shift change between 3-4pm. Don’t try to hail a cab if you see double yellow lines by the curb. Taxis can only stop if there is a single line—or none at all. Uber 6. Money Hong Kong Dollar Exchange Rate fixed to the USD. 1 USD = HK$7.75–7.85 Most places take Visa/Mastercard 40% take AMEX Lots of ATMS -- Hong Kong is a huge financial center after all Bills: Issued by 3 different banks, so you’ll see 3 different designs for all the bills HK$20, HK$50, HK$100, HK$500 and HK$1000 Coins: 7. Language 2 Official Languages 1.Chinese, (Spoken Cantonese) 2. English In the major urban districts, most residents will speak English but Cantonese is the local language If you think you’re planning to learn a little Cantonese before you go… it’s not easy… it has nine tones. 8. Shopping Shops often stay open late… none of this European 6pm closing time… think 9 or 10pm closing times for most shops and malls 9. Food: Cantonese Food And it’s all about sharing, portions are big and made for big groups Dim sum originated here in southern China and means “touch the heart”. These tiny bites of goodness were created as snack food for travellers and today are an essential part of local culture. Dim Sum Hong Kong Milk Tea Dai Pai Dong, Fast Food Noodle Shops, are common sites in Hong Kong offering an inexpensive bowl of noodles for around HK$20 and free tea Bones -- yes, lots of the local food has bones it. At the casual restaurants you can just put the bones on the table. At a fancier restaurant use the saucer plate beneath your bowl Tea -- Need a refill for your teapot? Turn the lid upside down. Like to avoid the crowds? Then avoid eating lunch between 1-2pm, that’s the typical Hong Kong lunch hour 10. Feng Shui The mystical art of feng shui is still common practice in Hong Kong -- wondering why a building’s architecture looks weird? The answer usually has to do with Feng Shui… that might be why your hotel lobby has a water feature and some goldfish in it too! 11. I’ve got more videos! Our South East Asia Trip continues with a stop at the one and only Hong Kong Disneyland! This first-timers' guide to Hong Kong Disneyland is a how-to guide to the best way to see the park! My first time at a non-US Disney Park was an amazing experience, definitely Disney but a slightly different feel. We rode Hong Kong Disneyland exclusive rides like Mystic Manor and Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, as well as Disney Parks favourites like Space Mountain, it's a small world, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. A surprise to us was just how good the food was - best meal we had in all of Hong Kong! Definitely kept the magic alive, if you're a Disney fan Hong Kong Disneyland should definitely be on your list! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- South East Asia Trip 2016: PREVIOUS VIDEO: HONG KONG NIGHTS - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC-qeQLo3OA NEXT VIDEO: NEW YEARS IN VIETNAM - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvUjQ5neZiM WATCH MORE DISNEY PARKS VIDEOS - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhLPBDMrpg0nvVxyAj9E2a1ICETxSHIme ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music: Broke For Free - The Gold Lining (https://soundcloud.com/broke-for-free) Disney Paint the Night Soundtrack ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's be friends Google+ ► http://www.google.com/+nanisnap Twitter ► http://www.twitter.com/tenani Instagram ► http://www.instagram.com/tenani Snapchat ► Tenani Facebook ► http://www.facebook.com/nanisnap Show your support on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/tenani

Hongkong Disneyland 2018 (Part1)

12:54
This year (2018) we visited Hongkong. This is my birthday gift to my daughter Chesca for her 7th birthday. One of our itinerary is Hongkong Disneyland. The happiest place on earth! The weather in Hongkong (on our trip) is very cold. As you can see on the video I am chilling. Try to prepare for the cold weather for your next trip. Chesca enjoyed disneyland especially the parades. We did not have enough time to visit all the attraction as the queue is very long and the waiting time will take most of your time. Definitely one day won't be enough to visit all the attractions. Better plan your visit if you are planning a one day trip. Just visit all the attractions you want the most. For more updates, follow me in IG: @francisjon14 https://www.instagram.com/francisjon14/ Book with booking.com to get 10% discount on your stay using the link below: https://www.booking.com/s/22_8/jon14083 Enjoy the video! We then had some delicious bamboo pounded noodles and wonton, and then continued to have dinner at a famous dai pai dong. 00:29 Sun Hang Yuen (新香園 堅記 Thank you to Josephine for this recommendation) - For breakfast in Hong Kong we headed over to Sham Shui Po and went to a classic Hong Kong cafe and restaurant called Sun Hang Yuen (新香園 堅記). I ordered my usual hot lemon tea, a glass of black tea with a half of a lemon chopped up inside. It was wonderful. We then had a beef and scrambled egg sandwich, which was surprisingly much better than I thought it was going to be. The bread was toasted wonderfully and the beef and eggs on the inside tasted so good, fried in what I think was butter. Total price - 33 HKD ($4.25) 4:58 Sham Shui Po market - After eating breakfast we walked around the Sham Shui Po market, a local fresh wet market in Hong Kong. The market was busy and stocked with everything you could imaging that goes into Hong Kong food. 6:29 Kwan Kee Bamboo Noodle (坤記竹昇面) - There are many famous restaurants in Hong Kong that serve egg noodles and wonton, but I really wanted to find a restaurant that specialized in bamboo kneaded noodles, which is becoming harder and harder to find in Hong Kong. So finally I found a place called Kwan Kee Bamboo Noodle (坤記竹昇面), a new restaurant that uses the owner's family recipe and technique for making his noodles. I was hoping to get to see the noodles being made, but unfortunately they weren’t making them at the time we got there to eat. Nevertheless, the noodles were still made using a bamboo pole to knead the dough. The noodles were amazing, had such a fantastic texture to them, and the wontons were equally as delicious. It was a fantastic noodle eating experience in Hong Kong. Total price - 84 HKD ($10.83) 13:11 Mong Kok, Ladies Market - Mongkok is one of the most famous areas in Hong Kong for shopping, and we walked around the area for a little bit. Ladies Market is a walking street flea market where you’ll find everything from clothes to souvenirs to luggage. 16:40 Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade, Star Ferry - 2.3 HKD ($0.30) - After walking around Mongkok we took the bus over to Tsim Sha Tsui to walk around and enjoy the views of the skyline of Hong Kong. 18:26 Tung Po Restaurant at Java Road Market (Thank you to Charles for this recommendation) - For dinner, we went to Java Road Market, and to a restaurant called Tung Po, that’s a well known dai pai dong restaurant within the market. They serve a huge menu of different Cantonese and even Thai dishes. My wife and I ordered a couple of different dishes, the highlight of the meal being the razor clams stir fried in black bean sauce. In addition to the food, the ambiance of the restaurant is exactly what you want in Hong Kong. Total price - 464 HKD ($59.83) 26:00 A Symphony of Lights - Finally to end this day of food in Hong Kong we went back to Tsim Sha Tsui to see the symphony of lights show. Disclaimer and Thank You: Thank you to Star Alliance and their Round The World tickets (http://www.staralliance.com/en/round-the-world) for sponsoring my business class flights. Hong Kong Street Food Tour — Roasted Meat and Amazing Dai Pai Dong Experience!

27:54
►Subscribe to my videos: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►25 Must-Eat Dishes in Hong Kong: https://goo.gl/8tLKwN ►Hong Kong Travel Guide for Food Lovers: https://goo.gl/AlcXel On Day 38 of our Round The World Trip for Food with Star Alliance, I wanted to make it a full on Hong Kong street food tour. We first started with some amazing Hong Kong roast meat, then had lunch at a legendary Hong Kong dai pai dong street food stall, and then continued on to a local Hong Kong dai pai dong for dinner. 00:50 Kwan Yu Roasted Meat (君御燒味) - Starting off the morning, we first ate at Kwan Yu Roasted Meat (君御燒味), a small and friendly Cantonese roasted meat restaurant. I ordered roast pork, char siu, and also got a soy sauce pigeon on the side. Everything was good, but the soy sauce pigeon, a local Hong Kong delicacy, was the best. Nothing like starting off a Hong Kong food tour with some roasted meats! Total price - 81 HKD ($10.44) What is a dai pai dong? A dai pai dong officially means a restaurant with a big license plate, but it refers to usually open air cooked food stalls, or Hong Kong street food stalls. 7:20 Sing Kee (盛記) - One of the legendary Hong Kong street food dai pai dong’s located right in the heart of Hong Kong central is Sing Kee (盛記). They serve all sorts of stir fried dishes that you order to make. I ordered a plate of sweet and sour pork ribs, chicken with ginger and spring onion, and clams in black bean sauce. The street food stall has an amazing atmosphere, slotted between sky rise buildings within an alley. The chef was pretty friendly, and when I was taking photos, he offered me a taste test of the sweet and sour ribs, right out of the wok. Sing Kee (盛記) is an amazing Hong Kong street food stall to eat at when you’re in Hong Kong. Total price - 169 HKD ($21.79) 13:27 Chan Kun Kee (陳根記) dai pai dong (Thank you to: http://www.strippedpixel.com/ for this recommendation) - Finally for dinner, I decided we needed to take a little food mission to Fo Tan Station, Wo Che Estate, Sha Tin, Hong Kong, in search of a properly local Hong Kong dai pai dong experience. The restaurant was tucked back into a neighborhood, far removed from the everyday hustle of Hong Kong. Yet in the midst of the condos, there it was, Chan Kun Kee (陳根記), an incredibly huge open air restaurant serving all things Cantonese food. I ordered the drunken chicken, fried fish, mantis shrimp, and a spicy fish pot. The food was awesome, and the loud and hectic Hong Kong environment was perfect. This was a stop on today’s Hong Kong food tour that was well worth getting off the eaten path for. Total price - 402 HKD ($51.83) It was an amazing day of eating Hong Kong street food on this food tour. I don’t think I can choose a favorite meal or dish of the day, they were all so delicious! 【Hong Kong Guide Tour】Cheung Chau "Half-day trip of a out-island" 長洲半日遊

02:31:18
Hi everyone, I think it is time for volunteer(s) who can translate this video to the English youtube community. From my channel, the youtube statistic shows that there are around 8% of audience from Hong Kong, plus some viewers in overseas are Cantonese Chinese. I believe within all this population, there are numbers of people who are bilingual, either able to read and write in English from Cantonese. Here I am seeking volunteer(s) who are willing dedicate his/her time to take half of my video workload. As you may or may not know that pre and post video production spend me most of the time, and additional video subtitle even 10 time more, then the result is: "you need to wait longer for next video ! " In youtube, there is a feature called "Community contributions" which allows viewers to contribute translated titles, descriptions, and subtitles/CC. I will credit you on my page here if you can able to do the translation part, no matter how long or short, correct content or grammar mistake, then I am sure the community will appreciate you. Because of you, then I can keep doing project "walk tour" around Hong Kong to capture and document the city as many as I can. However, if no volunteer show up all time, then I have to apologize you first that I will add the subtitle in sentence by sentence when time is available. --------------------------------- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheung_Chau ------------------------------------- HongKongMap: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1WYNIMCZR-hA81nPH8_EpUMcOkNs&usp=sharing

24hr HONG KONG STREET FOOD tour with Fen Chiew Wine | ROAST MEAT + CURRY | Street Food in Hong Kong

20:13
BEST Street Food in Hong Kong for 24 hours! We got the chance to visit the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair 2018 to help represent the Fen Chiew Chinese Baiju brand! The fair was a lot of fun and the wine was delicious! Since we were only stopping in Hong Kong for the fair we couldn't miss the opportunity to go eat some seriously delicious Hong Kong street food! We ate at the famous Mak An Kee noodle shop on Hong Kong island famous for their delicate wonton noodles. Mak An Kee at 37 Wing Kut St, Central, Hong Kong The bowls are small at this famous Hong Kong shop so we decided to get a bowl of halal friendly beef curry at Was Kee. Wai Kee is a tiny shop in the Bowrington road cooked food court about the market. Its seriously delicious sloppy cantonese style curry! Wai Kee at 23 Bowrington Rd, Bowrington, Hong Kong After our massive breakfast we arrived at the Hong Kong exhibition centre for the International Wine and Spirits fair! We had a great time with the people at Fen Chiew and sampled some delicious Chinese white wines! Once the fair was finished we decided to end our 24 hour trip with some roast meat! We had a mountain of cantonese style roast meats at Joy Hing!
