My name is Emma, and in today's video I am going to teach you a very, very important thing for customer service. I used to work in customer service, and this is actually one of the most important things I learned, and this is called the L-A-S-T or LAST approach. So, to get started, let's talk a little bit about: What is customer service? So, customer service is when you have customers, of course, and you're trying to make your customers as comfortable and happy as possible. You're also trying to meet their needs and expectations, and solve any problems or situations that they might have. So, customer service is a huge category. There's many, many different jobs where you use customer service. If you work in a hotel, for example, as a clerk, you know, in the lobby, as a bellhop, you will be using customer service. If you work at a restaurant as a server, you'll be using customer service, or as a hostess. If you're the manager of a store, you'll be using customer service. If you work in a business or even in a hospital, you'll be using customer service. So, pretty much any time you're dealing with people from the public and they're customers and you're trying to help them, you're doing customer service. So, there are many different problems that a customer might have. What are some examples of some problems? Can you think of anything, a problem a customer might have? Maybe somebody charged them too much for something, maybe they're in a store and the lineups are too long, maybe a customer is at a hotel and they're very unhappy because the Wi-Fi isn't working or their bed's uncomfortable. So, there's so many different problems customers might have at different types of businesses. In this video what I'm going to teach you is: What do you do when a customer has a problem? Okay? So, a very easy thing to do when a customer has a problem is called the LAST approach. "LAST", what does it stand for? Well, if a customer has a problem, the first thing you should do is listen to their problem, the next thing you should do is apologize, solve their problem, and thank them. So: Listen, Apologize, Solve, and Thank. We're going to look at expressions we use to show we're listening, expressions to apologize, expressions that can help us solve problems, and expressions to thank customers. Okay, so the first step when a customer has a problem is to listen. So, the first thing you should do is find out what the problem is. You can ask them: "What seems to be the problem?" or "How can I help you?" Okay? Once they start explaining what the problem is, very important that you look like you're actually listening and that you do listen. Okay? So, you shouldn't look at your watch: "Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm." Okay? That's a bad idea. You shouldn't look at the sky: "Uh, when is this person going to stop talking?" Okay? You shouldn't roll your eyes. Okay? No, no, no. You need to show that you actually care about what the customer is saying. So, showing you're listening is very important. You can repeat back to the customer what they're saying to show that you understand and to make sure that you did understand. So: "So what you're saying is, you know, there's no hot water in this hotel.", "So what you're saying is the Wi-Fi's not working and you're not happy with that." Okay? These are some examples. "So what you're saying is _________." You can also say: "Let me get this right..." "Let me get this right, what you're saying is that, you know, there's a problem at your table.", "What you're saying is that you've been waiting for your food for a really long time." So it's important to show that you are listening and you acknowledge what they have said. Okay. Now, sometimes with customer service you get a customer who's very angry, and maybe they start swearing, they start using very bad language. Okay? So if this happens, very important that you don't get upset. Okay? When this happened to me in the past, I would actually pretend to be a computer. I would not take anything personally. I would just smile and pretend to be a computer, and that's how I got through angry customers. So, if the person is rude... You know, it's not right if somebody is saying something rude to you, if they're swearing at you, or they're making you feel uncomfortable. So, be polite. Okay?

Deficiencies in complaint and Recall Handling cause warning letter. Due to deficiencies in the investigation of the scope and root causes of reported complaints, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning letter to an Indian drug manufacturer. The FDA inspection already took place in December of 2016. Because of the non-satisfactory reply in regards to the inspection findings by the manufacturer, the FDA issued the warning letter in August 2017. The FDA inspectors noticed that investigations into process deviations and out-of-specification (OOS) laboratory results were insufficient, and did not include scientifically-supported conclusions. According to FDA the manufacturer´s response to this observation was inadequate because, amongst others, it failed to fully investigate the scope and root causes of a reported complaint. The FDA now expects the manufacturer to retrospectively review all complaint, manufacturing, and laboratory investigations associated with each product that is produced for the U.S. market. Furthermore, a plan to ensure that all future investigations are thorough, scientifically sound, and result in appropriate and effective CAPA (corrective actions and preventive actions) should be provided. Another major deficiency was that the firm failed to follow the company´s own written procedures regarding the recall of failing products (for example: after receiving a complaint sample the defect has been confirmed, but a product recall as directed by company´s own procedures regarding recalls of defective products has not been initiated in time). Therefore, the FDA demands to provide a list and summary explanation for all other instances in which product(s) distributed within the last five years failed to meet established specifications, but for which actions prescribed in the firm´s Quality System Manual and recall procedure have not been taken. Additionally, the planned CAPA for each such instance should be provided including an explanation of CAPAs for ensuring to follow own procedures regarding product quality and recalls. In addition the FDA observed deficiencies in cleaning operations. The authority demands sampling procedures and analytical methods used to test residues found during the inspection, including validation protocols and validation reports. Furthermore, a plan is required to ensure that personnel responsible for cleaning, verifying equipment cleanliness, and maintaining equipment are appropriately trained and capable of performing their assigned duties. An overall assessment of the adequacy of your cleaning program for all equipment, with special emphasis on difficult-to-clean parts should be provided. Another deficiency was found regarding Process Controls. The FDA observed that the firm "does not have an adequate ongoing program for monitoring process control to ensure stable manufacturing operations and consistent drug quality". FDA’s guidance document, Process Validation: General Principles and Practices, for general principles and approaches that FDA considers appropriate elements of process validation, should be followed.

Submit a formal complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. You need not hire a lawyer for filing the suit. Fill this complaint form and submit it to the commission. Consumer Protection Act, 1986 is an Act of the Parliament of India enacted in 1986 to protect the interests of consumers in India. It makes provision for the establishment of consumer councils and other authorities for the settlement of consumers' disputes and for matters connected therewith also. We are all consumers of goods and services in one way or the other. The moment we take birth on this earth we become consumers and are entitled to seek relief under the Consumer Protection Act. These days we see that consumers are cheated and harassed in many ways. At times they are provided with inferior quality of goods, at times with less quantity than actually demanded whereas at other times the consumer is charged with excess prices than otherwise fixed for the commodity. The traders considers consumers as persons who are morons having paying capacity and can try to deceive them in every possible way. Therefore there was a strong need felt to protect the consumers. HOW TO FILE A CONSUMER COMPLIANT?: Before formally filing a Consumer Complaint, it is desired that the Consumer gives notice to the opposite party of the fact of any deficiency in service or of unfair trade practice etc to see if the trader is willing to make good the loss suffered by either replacing the commodity or returning the value of the purchase. If yes, the issue resolves then and there. But if the trader refuses or neglects here that the consumers needs to approach the Consumer Court. STEP 1:At first identify the Jurisdiction of the Forum where the complaint is to be filed. This issue needs to be identified from two angles of jurisdiction i.e. Territorial and Pecuniary. Step 2: You will be required to pay a prescribed fee along with your complaint before the District Forum, State Commission & the National Commission as the case may be. Step 3:Then you have to draft your complaint stating facts necessary to establish a cause of action. Step 4:At the end of the complaint you have to put your signatures. In case any other person is authorised to file the complaint then complaint has to be accompanied with authorisation letter. Step 5: Don’t forget to mention the name, description and address of the complainant and the name, description, address of the opposite party or parties against whom relief is claimed. Step 6: Copies of all the documents supporting your allegations. In this you can put on record the copy of the bill of the goods bought, warranty and guarantee documents and also a copy of the written complaint and notice made to the trader requesting him to rectify the product. Step 7: You can also ask for compensation costs which should be specifically alleged in the complaint. Besides compensation, a consumer can also ask for the refunds, damages, litigation costs, and interest amount. You must give the breakup of amount claimed under different heads but do remember to claim compensation or other relief as per the pecuniary value of the forums. Step 8: Explain in your complaint as to how the case falls within the jurisdiction of this forum. Step 9: Complaint must clearly state as to what relief is sought against the opposite party. Step 10: The Act provides for limitation period of two years from the date of cause of action. In case there is delay in filing the complaint, please explain the delay which can be can be condoned by the Tribunal. Step 11: You are also required to file an affidavit along with the complaint that facts stated in the complaint are true and correct. Step 12: The complainant can present the complaint in person or by his/her authorized representative without engaging any advocate. The complaint can be sent by registered post. A minimum of 5 copies of the complaint is to be filed in the forum. Besides this you have to file additional copies for each opposite party. Hey guys! So I just did a brief overview/complaint regarding my Prada 6 Key Holder in Saffiano leather. I purchased the item directly from a Prada boutique in November 2015. I feel the product overall is a good value, with usefulness and materials as its greatest selling points. The major downfall for this product is the quality of the item. Like I said, I've had it for about 2 months and one of the hooks already broke off. Mind you, my keys are not heavy with my car key being the heaviest one attached. I really would like to recommend buying a Prada item but due to quality issues I would most likely stay away for now.

10 Free Facilities on Petrol Pump For Everyone in Hindi | By Ishan Very few of us know that we are entitled to various rights and benefits at the petrol pumps which the staffs are bound to oblige. Here, know all your rights: 1. Right to check the quality of oil: Every consumer has the right to check the quality of diesel or petrol at the filling stations. They are entitled to know whether they are getting the right kind of fuel in exchange for their money. If the petrol pump staff don't allow you to check the quality, you can either write a complaint in their register or you can lodge a complaint on http://pgportal.gov.in/. 2. Right to check the quantity: Every petrol pump must have a 5-litre measuring jug to check the quantity of petrol or diesel and this measuring jug must be checked by investigation centre every year for weight and capacity. A difference of 25ml is acceptable but if the deviation is more than that, you should file a complaint to the petrol pump manager. 3. Right to check the density of petrol, diesel and other fuels: Apart from the quality and quantity, you are entitled to check the density of the fuel. There is a 500ml cylinder at every petrol pump to check the density which is filled to about ¾ height with the help of nozzle. After that, an instrument named (American Society for Testing of Materials) is dipped in this beaker which gives the reading for temperature and density of the product. This reading is compared with the one mentioned in the register which acts as the reference. Both the reading should be same. 4. Filter paper test (for petrol): If you doubt the quality of petrol, you can go for this test. Under this test, the nozzle of dispensing pump is cleaned with the filter paper and then a drop of petrol is added to the filter paper. If the drop turns pink, the petrol is pure but if some other colour appears, the petrol is adulterated. 5. Right to ask for bill: It is your right to ask for the bill of the fuel to get filled in your vehicle. The bill has the description of the amount and the taxes you have to pay in return for the fuel. In case the attendant at the filling station denies providing you with the bill, you can make a complaint against him. Here are some facilities which you get free of cost at the petrol pump: 1. Free Air: Every filling station provides the service of free air to the consumers who get fuels filled in their vehicles. If the attendant at the air pressure counter asks you for money, you can file a complaint against him at the main counter. 2. Free Drinking Water: You are entitled to get free drinking water at the petrol pump. Every petrol pump is bound to provide the facility of free drinking water to their consumers. 3. Free Toilet Services: Unlike the railway stations or municipal toilets, you can't be charged for using the washroom at the petrol pump. If the staff at the filling station asks you for the money, you can file a complaint against him. 4. First-Aid Facility: In the case of any injury or wounds, you are entitled to get first-aid at the petrol pumps. If the petrol pump staff fails to provide you with the first-aid you can make a complaint against him. 5. Complaint Register; If you are not satisfied with any services of the petrol pump, you can write your complaint in the complaint register available at the petrol pump. It is mandatory for every filling station to maintain a complaint register. 6. Firefighting Instruments: Every petrol pump should have fire fighting instruments in case the station catches fire. The safety equipment as per statutory requirements is fire extinguishers, sand buckets etc. 7. Display of fuel prices and working hours: It is the right of every consumer to know the fuel prices of that particular filling station. So it is mandatory for every petrol pump to display the prices in bold letters. Also, the working hours should be displayed in bold letters. 8. Free phone call: In the case of any emergency, every consumer is entitled to get free phone call service. If the petrol pump staff don't allow you to make a call or charges you for the same, you can make a complaint. With the iPhone X Apple has entered the realm of near bezel-less smartphones. The screen-to-body ratio on the iPhone X is one of the most impressive on the market. The camera on the iPhone X is also market leading and competitive with the Google Pixel 2 XL. Many users will be happy living with the iPhone X but I think the purchase is tough to justify. Given the emergence of truly high quality smartphone options retailing for half the price. Devices like the OnePlus 5T, Essential Phone, Razer Phone and even the heavily discounted Samsung Galaxy S8 offer better value for money. The iPhone X is not twice as good as any of those devices. Of course, this is my opinion… There is no perfect smartphone, just the best smartphone for you. Amazon Seller of Collectibles & Toys Suspended from Inauthentic Complaint
Check out our other videos here http://vid.io/xq4z Reinstated with Plan of Action and Invoices We had a seller of collectibles and toys who was suspended for inauthentic complaints from Amazon customers. The complaints were baseless because the seller (our client) sourced largely from manufacturers or authorized distributors. They had invoices to show that they had done their due diligence and only dealt with reputable sources. Our client was a family owned and operated Amazon based business; being suspended meant that their profits could be withheld by Amazon. One of their small issues was that they sent their products from the supplier directly to FBA, which means that they were not entirely sure of the condition in which the products were arriving at FBA. This is something that Amazon expects you to take accountability for. Our client could not necessarily speak of the condition of the products with certainty because Amazon could see on the invoices where things were shipped; all invoices have a Billing portion and a Shipping portion. Amazon could see that the products were going straight to an FBA center. The more systematic epidemic issue was that they were opted into commingling and repackaging via FBA. We always suggest Amazon sellers opt out of repackaging; do not trust Amazon's warehouse staff or other sellers regarding product quality. Amazon Sellers Lawyer Suggestion: Test buy your products regularly. There is a report that you can get from Amazon that shows products that were sent back to be repackaged and it will state 'nothing necessarily wrong with this; put back into inventory and sent back out again'. For consumers purchasing collectible toys, the products need to be in pristine condition, or they are unacceptable. With the report, our client was able to show Amazon their mistake; they were not aware of commingling and repackaging; most sellers aren't. Our client opted out of the program and got their account back up by saying that they were going to take responsibility for their account. All inventory would come to them first, they would do their own due diligence and take responsibility for their products. Hello My Kings & Queens! This video is an older video from Late 2015. The hair quality has upgraded 2 ENTIRE GRADES SINCE THEN! :) However, this is the Malaysian Caribbean Curly Drahma Hair in which a customer sent back stating that it was tangling/shedding and wasn't correct. As I EASILY combed out this hair with water and conditioner in LESS THAN 10 MINUTES, (All Three Bundles) I easily came to the conclusion that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the hair. The customer was using excessive product, teasing it very often, failing to co-wash, etc. which caused her to feel the way she did. Once the hair was washed and sent back, SHE LOVED IT! Also to say that this was her first batch of VIRGIN hair, I gave her my personal number where she could call anytime if she had any future question about hair care. :) RESOLUTION: I Sent The Client The Restoration Video Of Her Malaysian Caribbean Curly Drahma Hair After A Simple Wash & Condition. I Also Offered The Client A Different Texture Of Hair Due To The Fact That She Never Owned Virgin Hair Before & Admitted That She May Not Have KnownThe Proper Treatment Virgin Hair Should Receive. The Customer Declined My Offer & Requested To Receive The Same Hair That Was Restored. I Then Sent The Hair Back& The Customer Was Completely Satisfied With No Complaints.
