Things you need to know before you travel to Los Angeles California. LA is HUGE. You won't be able to see all of LA, unless you're staying for a very very long time. Los Angeles doesn't have a "center" and Downtown LA is not very exciting. LA is comprised of multiple cities Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, Malibu. Get a rental car - You'll need it to see most tourist attractions in Los Angeles. 2. Traffic - LA has traffic everywhere, all the time. All day, every day. Yes, even at 1am on a weekend. Deal with it. - The freeways have names -- it's not I-405 -- it's "THE 405" 3. Public Transit - LA has a subway! - But it probably doesn't go where you want! Especially the beach! 4. Parking - Is often Valet - and Costs money everywhere - Except when you're parking on the freeway :) - Pay attention to street signs (confusing times and days) 5. Navigation - Know where you're going and take the correct exit - Take the wrong exit and you might end up in some place really sketchy - Lots of little cities, the street numbering changes in different cities 6. Weather - LA is not always sunny and warm - It gets cold -- particularly at night - Shorts in the day, but pants and a jacket at night - And the ocean water is cold too... 70 degrees is as warm as it gets - Inland can be 30 degrees warmer than the beach - Lots of sunscreen - Sunglasses - It's dry -- moisturizer 7. LA is unlike the rest of California - It can feel like a different country, or at least a different state - Venice Beach in particular 8. Hollywood is in the neighborhood called "Hollywood" - West Hollywood is in front of the Hollywood sign (and a different city) with Fancy homes - East Hollywood doesn't have much - North Hollywood over the mountain is a suburb of LA - Oh by the way -- no actors in Hollywood - And if you go see a 30 minute sitcom taping it will take 4+ hours 9. The Valley - Means San Fernando Valley - Burbank, Studio City, North Hollywood, Van Nuys 10. LA's most well known attractions are also some of the most rundown - Hollywood Boulevard or is Tijuana? - Venice Beach, oh my lord 11. LA is casual - Flip flops and shorts are OK except in the most dressy establishments 12. Bring your own shopping bag - Supermarkets charge 10 cents for shopping bags in California 13. Mexican Food in LA is awesome - Get some fish tacos! - And visit King Taco! After finishing my California Road Trip video this summer, I realized I still had a lot of extra footage that I hadn’t used. So I decided to put it to good use in a new video. This video is the result: How to Road Trip California. It’s more of a narrative and slower in style than its predecessor, but I’m hoping you still like it. Here’s a link to the first video if you haven’t seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9m-F6pnph0 MY MAIN GEAR: Camera Body - http://amzn.to/2sNIhiE GoPro HERO 4 Black - http://amzn.to/2sNLw9R Rode Mic - http://amzn.to/2sNgQ8J Canon Lens- http://amzn.to/2sNPcIq Tokina Lens- http://amzn.to/2va7eWn GlideCam Stabilizer - http://amzn.to/2sNLwXj Camera Bag - http://amzn.to/2va3cgj Many people ask, “How much will it cost to road trip California?" “What are the best places in California to visit?” and “Where is the best food?". The answers to those questions depend on a lot of different factors. California has so much to offer. To truly experience the whole state could take over a month. And you still wouldn’t see everything. Time, money, and personal preference should all be considered. My main question wasn’t as much “How to Road Trip California” as it was “How can I explore California in one week, with two friends, a camera, and a modest budget?” I think I answered it. Hey guys! Sorry I haven't uploaded in a while. Ive been in a funk & and decided to go on a social media hiatus. That hiatus encouraged me to do something new...by myself. So I chose to travel to Los Angeles on my own, however, my spontaneous trip aligned with others events that changed my life for the better. Watch both blogs to get the full story!

Come with us on our Los Angeles trip! It was filled with lots of dancing and shenanigans. We were visiting LA for our friend’s birthday and we had way too much fun! Anytime we can plan a weekend trip to LA we know it’s gonna be a fun filled weekend. These guys are the best and there’s never a dull moment. If you’re planning an LA weekend trip and are wondering what to do in LA, here is what we ended up doing: -Santa Monica beach Los Angeles is where we played like little monkeys. -3rd Street Promenade Santa Monica is where there’s lots of fun shopping, restaurants, and performers! -Katsuya Los Angeles had incredible food for dinner! Highly recommend it. -Runyon Canyon Park Los Angeles is where we went on that beautiful hike! -And our preferred method of transportation was by scooter. 😂 This Oregon Youtuber had a great time in LA and I hope you enjoyed meeting some of my friends on this little LA vlog! Death Valley National Park Road Trip If you're not a big fan of the heat, but want to know what it's like inside Death Valley, this Death Valley tour video might help. This is the road trip my friend and I took just before summer. -- MY MAIN GEAR: Camera Body - http://amzn.to/2sNIhiE GoPro HERO 4 Black - http://amzn.to/2sNLw9R Rode Mic - http://amzn.to/2sNgQ8J Canon Lens- http://amzn.to/2sNPcIq Tokina Lens- http://amzn.to/2va7eWn GlideCam Stabilizer - http://amzn.to/2sNLwXj Camera Bag - http://amzn.to/2va3cgj Bobby's amazing camera - http://amzn.to/2ufCmal -- Death Valley is one of the hottest places in the world. It’s also a short 4 hour drive away from Los Angeles. With summer approaching, I wanted to take a road trip out to Death Valley before it got too hot. My friend Bobby went with me. Neither of us had been, yet. We were only there two days yet I’d say we did learn how to road trip Death Valley successfully by failing at a few things first. Here are some basic tips to get you started: Bring a hat, sunscreen, and lots of water. And make sure you are 100% confident in whatever car you are taking out there. The conditions are rough. There’s virtually no cell phone service and no relief from the sun if you get stranded. Also, Death Valley camping is a thing, but I suggesting you know what you're doing. Because we wanted to make things simple, we just stayed in a motel in Beatty, right outside the park. As I said, we planned on making this road trip to Death Valley a simple one, but it turned out to be the opposite of that because of car trouble. I had to get my car towed. I’ll let the video explain that. Here are some more tips if you’re traveling to Death Valley: What to see when visiting Death Valley: -Father Crowley Vista -Rhyolite Ghost Town -Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes -Badwater Basin -Devil’s Golf Course -Artist’s Drive -Artist’s Palette -Zabriskie Point (I don't know for certain, but this seemed to be a popular Las Vegas to Death Valley tour route destination. It was super crowded with lots of tour buses and people pouring out.) -Dante’s View My favorites: Badwater Basin, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Artist’s Drive/Palette Devil’s Golf Course was pretty cool too. But mainly just because it’s fun to walk on. It’s razor sharp though. Also, If you road trip Death Valley, consider the car you bring because there are certain roads that are only good for high clearance vehicles. Most of top sights are all accessible via paved roads, but there are a few (like the Race Track) that aren’t. Where to stay in Death Valley: We stayed overnight in a town called Beatty. It’s right outside the east edge of Death Valley and much cheaper. There are also some town-like areas (used town very loosely) inside the park with hotels, cottages, and camp grounds. Consider staying in Furnace Creek, Stovepipe Wells, or Panamint Springs. If you're looking for hotels near Death Valley, you don't have many options. I'd say Lone Pine to the west and Beatty to the east are your best options. Death Valley camping sites can be found all over the park. But again, make sure you know what you're doing and go in a cooler month. We went in May to beat the heat, but it didn’t work. Death Valley weather is crazy. It was 110 and 111 the days we were there. The week before the weather was in the 90’s. The NP website actually says May is usually when it starts getting too hot for visitors. I hope you enjoy watching our Death Valley tour via video. It was definitely quite the experience. This is a complete road trip compilation from Santa Monica, California to New York City over eight different days from June-September, 2017 - all recorded in time-lapse at 4fps (nearly 100,000 frames total). Of the 3,253 miles (5,235 kilometers) driven, about 3 miles of this drive is missing, mostly in Colorado near Poncha Springs. Nearly all of this drive was done in daytime, but there is about 10 minutes of this video done in darkness in Arizona (about 1:00:00 to 1:10:00). The weather was good for the most part, except from Pennsylvania all the way to the Bronx, before clearing up in Manhattan. This trip also includes driving through the solar eclipse of August 21 in Nebraska (at about 3:30:00), as well as driving over the old Tappan Zee Bridge in upstate NY, which permanently closed a month later with the opening of the new Mario M Cuomo Bridge adjacent to it. The states passed through are California (0:00:35-0:40:54) Arizona (0:40:54-1:40:26) New Mexico (1:40:26-1:41:09) Colorado (1:41:09-3:07:17) Nebraska (3:07:17-3:51:05) Iowa (3:51:05-4:24:17) Illinois (4:24:17-4:50:42) Indiana (4:50:42-5:10:51) Ohio (5:10:51-5:39:13) West Virginia (5:39:13-5:40:48 & 5:47:09-5:51:52) Pennsylvania (5:40:48-5:47:09 & 6:04:43-6:32:49) Maryland (5:51:52-6:04:43) New York (6:32:49-6:50:03) The highest elevation of the drive was 11,539 ft (3,517 m) at 2:28:10. The highest elevation anywhere on the U.S. interstate system is 11,158 ft (3,401 m) at 2:33:41. Both of these elevations are two of the three continental divide crossings; the other, at 2:04:38 (10,856 ft / 3,309 m), is the first. The hottest temperature of this trip was 110 F (43 C) in Needles, California (about 0:40:16), and the coldest temperature of this trip was 53 F (11 C) in Tusayan, Arizona (about 1:10:04) - only about 230 miles (370 km) from Needles. Hey everyone! We took a roadtrip from San Diego to Los Angeles this weekend and had a blast! There's so much stuff to do in L.A. - we went rollerblading at Hermosa Beach, got vegan food at Happy Veggie and Veggie Grill, and got our lash extensions done by iGlow Lash Extensions. And of course we had to do some car karaoke and a lil bit of dancing for the road! xo Naz & Nita __________________________________________ CONTACT Business inquiries and contact: [email protected] _______________________________________________ SOCIAL MEDIA - NAZ Fitness coaching: www.nazeratifitness.com IG: @nazerati.k Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/NazeratiFitness Twitter: https://twitter.com/Nazerati Download your FREE cheat sheet to lose the last 15 lbs here: http://www.nazeratifitness.com/cheat-... _______________________________________________ SOCIAL MEDIA - NITA IG: @nitagill Snap: nitagill Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nitakgill Get in shape with me! - www.gainsonfleek.com

http://www.expedia.com/San-Diego.d178304.Destination-Travel-Guides Welcome to San Diego, often called the birthplace of California. Start your San Diego tour with a stop in Old Town, a historic park filled with buildings dating back to the 1820s. If you want something a little livelier, go a few miles south to check out the Gaslamp District, full of Victorian-era architecture and a thriving bar and club scene. Bringing the kids with you, or looking for a more sedate afternoon? Stop by the San Diego Zoo and spend some time with the many animals taking up residence there – including some of the few pandas outside of China. Explore San Diego’s ties to the sea by touring the U.S.S. Midway, Navy Pier, and Maritime Museum. From there, it’s just a skip across the bay to Coronado, where you can lay out in the sun and soak up some rays in a quiet beach town. Round out your day with a trip to “the jewel,” better known as La Jolla, and indulge in some of the best seafood and Mexican food you’ll find anywhere. Don’t forget to say “Hi” to the sea lions. Hey family, this video is the foundation that gave me the confidence to trust myself completely. At eighteen years young I decided to quit my job in my hometown and find a deeper understanding of life in Los Angeles. Even though the end result was me being homeless, I hope that my testimony from I experienced can show you that anything is possible if you want it bad enough. Artavis from this trip did not have a plan, he had faith. Lol may your experience traveling come with a plan and a HUGE abundance of faith. I wish you peace love and light.
