What are the biggest creatures in the world? If you wanna find the true giants of this planet, you’ll need to head into the ocean. Without the force of gravity pulling them down, marine animals can reach unimaginable sizes. TIMESTAMPS: The Giant Clam 1:37 The Giant Spider Crab 2:41 The Great White Shark 3:45 The Whale Shark 4:52 The Fin Whale 5:49 The Lion’s Mane Jellyfish 6:39 The Blue Whale 7:53 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - Giant Clams are the largest mollusks in the world. They can grow around 4 feet in length and weigh more than 440 pounds. - The giant spider crab lives in the waters near Japan. Their legs reach about 11.5 feet from claw to claw and the body can be around 14.5 inches in diameter, which is pretty small compared to their long long limbs. - The great white gets its name from its distinct white belly under its grey body. As for the “great” part, that’s simply because some of them can grow over 20 feet long! As for your average great white shark, it’s usually about 15 feet in length, making it the largest predatory fish in the world. - The whale sharks are covered in white spots that have a unique design for each individual shark. The whale shark ranges in size from 18 to 32.8 feet and can weigh about 20.6 tons. - The fin whale can get up to 85 feet long. That’s the length of two school buses! It can weigh up to 75 tons, which is about as much as a space shuttle! - The lion’s mane jellyfish can get up to 120 feet long, putting the lion’s mane jellyfish among the ranks of the world’s longest animals and certainly the largest jellyfish species. It likes to float in the open ocean, where it feeds on zooplankton, small crustaceans, fish, and even other types of jellyfish. - The blue whale is the largest animal this planet as ever seen, and it still swims the oceans today. They range from 82 feet to 105 feet in length and weigh up to a massive 200 tons. That’s as much as an empty Boeing 747! Top 10 most amazing animals found in the ocean Subscribe to TheHub http://goo.gl/87YJzG For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] Remember those fishing trips with your parents when you were just a kid? You’d be amazed every time you caught something, and your parents would act impressed, too, even if it was smaller than your palm. At the time you’d find it hard to believe that there were creatures in the ocean bigger than that. Obviously, now that you’ve grown older, you’re aware of some of the huge beasts that grace our seas. Of course, there’s the blue whale or the great white shark, but have you ever considered some of the lesser-known creatures out there? We’ve put together a list of some of the biggest living things you’ll find in the ocean – although they’re not necessarily all things you would like to catch. For example, you most definitely do not want to come across a Giant Spider Crab while paddling at the shore, although chance would be a fine thing, as they don’t tend to swim to the surface. Or what about the Fin Whale? A far friendlier giant, it’s one you should try and see in your lifetime – if it doesn’t get hunted into extinction anytime soon. If you’re venturing further afield, and happen to be in Antarctica, you might be lucky enough to be greeted by a Southern Elephant Seal. You’ll be surprised to find out why it’s named that, too. Some other interesting beasts in our video include the Lion’s Mane Jellyfish, the Oceanic Manta Ray and the Whale Shark, but you’ll have to watch the video to find out the rest.

Giant Squids have been known to roam the oceans for many years, but not until recently have we gotten photographic proof of that thanks to advances in technology. ________________________ This video was also submitted by Vincent Jap ________________________ In this video, however, everyday people like you and me get to see a giant squid up close and personal… The video was submitted by Udara Shashipriya and Katona Zalán. It only shows one picture but claims the picture is of a giant squid that was washed up on a beach in New Zealand. But is this picture for real? Or is this just another big fat fake - that’s what Udara and Katona want to know. Looking closer at the video, I see it was posted by a youtube channel called Absolutely Incredible… The title mentions the beach where the squid supposedly washed up. On a hunch, I looked up the closest police station to that beach and gave them a call to see if they had heard of this incident. It must have been huge news. The information, I received from the police led to this… the official answer. Here we go. and I quote: The picture claiming to show a giant squid washed up on a beach in New Zealand has been thoroughly examined. From this examination, the picture has been determined to be… 100%... beyond any shadow of a doubt... a big fat fake… According to my police informants in New Zealand, there was a squid that washed ashore, but it was on the opposite coast at a place called Kaikoura. it was also much smaller than the one pictured in the video.

The ocean is a vast expanse of water on our planet. A place that has not been fully explored by humanity. A place, surrounded by numerous terrifying stories of which we do not know with certainty if they are true or not. But what we are sure is that the ocean has been seen by many as a place where strange things can happen at any time. One of the stories that constantly circulate around the sea, are the sightings of strange creatures in the middle of nowhere. Giant sea monsters that, believe it or not, were seen by crafts in real life. If you want to know these stories. I invite you to stay until the end. Because this time, we will review those real stories, where boats had encounters with real sea monsters. 🎬Similar Videos. ✅Monsters Found Underground. http://bit.ly/2SKlQaf ✅Submarines That Were Attacked By Strange Sea Monsters. http://bit.ly/2Vj9Azs 🎁 TheTopMan 2.0 Merchandise. http://bit.ly/2zr1dZM 👍Facebook: http://bit.ly/2IjqmMQ Music by: Kevin MacLeod. You won't believe that fishermen actually caught these gigantic sea monsters! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg SyFy recently aired the third film in their so-bad-its-good “Sharknado” series, prompting some to wonder if airborne, tornado-based sharks could actually be real. Okay, so no one is really wondering that. Still, though, the ocean continues to represent a great unknown to us, providing home to countless species, many of which remain a mystery to humanity. The more we learn about what lurks deep below the surface, the more we realize still remains uncovered. With two-thirds of the Earth’s surface covered in water, it stands to reason that a great deal of that space remains unexplored. Of course, just because humankind hasn’t covered every iota of ground along the ocean floor, it doesn’t mean that those areas are uninhabited. All we know for sure is that the truly deepest depths of the world’s oceans continue to offer surprises, even as scientific technology becomes increasingly advanced. New species unlike any others known before are routinely discovered, with entirely new and alien biomes in extreme environments that no life had even been thought possible have challenged our very notions of what life is and how it has evolved. Amidst the cold darkness of a low-lying ocean area with depths that no sunlight can penetrate lies an alien world of incredibly rare and mysterious species. While many are simple, harmless omnivores, they share the ocean floor with some pretty unsettling forces. These ocean-based creatures – those that we know about, anyway – change everything we think we know about fish. Each one has at least one predominant feature that stands out as being unlike anything seen before. Think you know sharks? Well, how about one with a saw-like nose or a frilly, eel-like body. Think you’ve seen some big fish? How about a 17-metre long swimmer or a 900-pound squid or even a 5,000-pound behemoth sunfish? Lurking within the ocean are a number of deadly, threatening, vicious creatures that are naturally designed and programmed to hunt and stalk their prey. Thankfully, most of these monsters live at pressures that humans could never survive at – not that they would survive long down there, anyway. In recent years, Hollywood has sparked a fascination with zombies, aliens and other forces that exist beyond the realms of our planet and that are not steeped in reality. Despite that, some of the strangest and most terrifying creatures in the universe lie beneath the surface of bodies of water with which we are, at least partially, familiar. As we sit on a beach staring out at the natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean, we remain blissfully oblivious to all that lurks within. This list seeks to open the door to an entire world of deep sea activity, featuring a cast of creepy and spooky characters that few even know exist. These 10 fish, some of whom may seem to be borne out of your darkest nightmares, are all very real and may give you second thoughts the next time you foray into the ocean. And these are just the ones we know about… Check out these other awesome videos! 10 Shockingly Large Creatures That Actually Exist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9odlL5Ti3dc 10 Things That Will Happen When Humans Go Extinct https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ml_awEqbEE Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/TheRichest.org Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheRichest_Com Instagram: http://instagram.com/therichest For more videos and articles visit: http://www.therichest.com/

Images have been floating around the net showing what appears to be the carcass of what definitely has to be the world's biggest snake. The story circulating with the pictures claims the snake was found in the Red Sea. They claimed the snake was over 20 feet tall and as long as 3 ½ school buses...(approx 36 feet) The age of the beast, taken its considerable size into consideration was estimated to be over 100 years old. (2 audio takes) Images included pictures of the dead snake on top of some kind of military transport carrier, next to some tanks, being hoisted up by a helicopter among others... I was intrigued by the images as well as the story. I had my own questions and wanted answers... #1 How big can a snake get? #2 How long can a snake live? And last but not least... Who is they? The longest snake in the world is the reticulated python and can grow up to 30 feet long, and according to the people at Guinness World Records the record for longest snake ever in captivity goes to a python named “Medusa” Even at 30 feet long, that's not even as long as one school bus. Reticulated pythons live on average 15 to 20 years with some having reached 25 to 30 years old. Now... Who... is... they? The story claims a specialized team of scientists and divers tracked and killed the raging reptile and as if to give the story some credence they listed some names... They included Scientists like Drs, Karim Mohammed , Mohammed Sharif and Mr. Sea...as well as specialized divers Abdullah Karim, Wael Mohammed and mahmoud Shafik. This would not be the first time a giant reptile was claimed to be caught on film... This pic was alleged to be taken by Belgian Helicopter pilot Col Remy Van Lierde somewhere over the Congo in 1959 at heights over 500 feet, making the snake an estimated 200 feet long. The colonel also claimed, that when going in for a closer look the giant snake it rose up preparing to attack if the helicopter got any closer. So is this dead, dead sea snake real or a hoax? A few things to consider... When I researched these names, the only references I could find of them only lead back to the snake story on some very less than reputable news sites. Not to mention, one of the Dr's names in the article is “Dr. Mr. Sea.” Drawing upon extensive investigative and forensic knowledge gained by my many years of watching Law and Order and CSI, the original, not those lame copy cats..(really just did a google search). I was able to deduce that these photos and the snake are REAL!!! These absolutely 100% real photos of this authentically dead snake began to show up in 2012 on some Persian and Arabic language web sites. But...they did not originate there. They go back as far as 2010 and were originally published by some Vietnamese IT Students under the title “Vietnam Army Captured Giant Snake.” The only thing not real in the pics were the soldiers, and military vehicles. They are in fact just the kind of really cool toys my dad never bought for me. But the snake is real, but would be at most three feet long. Using forced perspective and some clever positioning, these students were able to execute one of the funnest looking hoaxes I think I've ever seen. Sorry internets! numerous vessels claim to have witnessed the massive humanoid-beings rise from the depths of the ocean. These mysterious creatures, are called Ningen which translates as “human” in Japanese. The first time this giant humanoid sea creature was seen, was by a Japanese research vessel, off the coast of Antarctica in the 1990s. According to witnesses, there are creatures who have a human-like shape, often with legs, arms, and even five-fingered hands. Sometimes they are described with fins or a large tail like that of mermaids. 💜 Subscribe and like if you enjoyed the video. On November 30, 2017, during the first dive of the Okeanos Explorer Gulf of Mexico 2017 expedition, we saw this giant deep-sea isopod (Bathynomus giganteus) at a depth of ~810 meters (2,660 feet). Measuring nearly 30 centimeters (almost one foot) long, these giant isopods are a great example of deep-sea gigantism, as most isopods in the deep sea are much smaller, about the size of your thumbnail. While we often see these giant underwater 'pill bugs' resting on the seafloor, we don't always get to see them swim, so seeing this isopod come in for a landing was exciting! Raven Skyriver is an American Glass artist who focuses mainly on wildlife and the natural world in his expressive glass sculptures. He is known for pushing the limits of the glass medium in his ultra realistic pieces. He has mastered many coloring techniques through the use of frit, powdered glass and color bars to create ultra realistic skin tones and body markings. His hot sculpting skills are unbelievable as well. Prior to the shooting of this video Raven came prepared with the turtle's shell, fins and head by pre-sculpting and cutting; using a diamond wheel, cutting through multiple layers of glass to create the pattern on the turtle's shell, and sandblasting the scales fins. Watch as raven uses many of the same coloring techniques to create the turtle's body, blow it into the shell and attach the fins and head. This is a dramatic process! Enjoy

Killifish It may not be too far a stretch to call the Killifish one of the most unique and interesting fish in the world. That's because this is a fish that only lives for about a year, and it uses its body as a missile in order to get food. However, one of the most shocking and surprising things about it, is that it can live on land for a week despite being a fish!! 8. European Wels Catfish The Wels Catfish is one of the world’s largest freshwater fish. This giant fish is native to Eastern Europe but can now be found all over thanks to fishermen who wanted to be able to fish them for sport in Spain and Italy. These fish can get up to 15 feet long and weigh anywhere from 300 to 600 pounds!! 7. Silver Arowana In South America, there is a fish known as the Silver Arowana, and it's known to be quite a vicious predator. It has a leaping ability that is so good that they are able to jump out of the water in order to catch birds, insects, and even grab low-hanging snakes. Just as important though is that they do it with such speed and accuracy that their prey doesn't have time to react, ensuring that they get their meal. 6. Eel Catfish The Eel Catfish is another unique fish that has developed the ability to move onto land!! This fish is found in the muddy swamps of western Africa can grow 12-16 in long (30-40cm). What’s weird about them is that they love to eat beetles which are found on land! The fish has to be hungry enough to want to go through the effort but when it does, it propels itself onto the shore, raises up the front part of its body, and lunges at it with its jaws wide so it can bite down on the beetle. 5. Giant Trevally When BBC was filming their special "Blue Planet II", they were given a tip that there were fish eating birds off of the coast of the Seychelles. The fish that was doing this was one that had not been documented before as ever eating birds! The Giant Trevally fish. 4. Rainbow Trout When it comes to the Rainbow Trout, it already had a reputation for being an extraordinary fish. Mainly because of its fighting spirit and the ability it has to leap out of the water, but when a research team caught a very special Rainbow Trout on camera, they were shocked!! Inside the Rainbow Trout were about 20 shrews. 3. Sharks Sharks are one of the top predators in the ocean, and so you might think that they wouldn't even need to feast on land animals or birds in order to feed their hunger. But the fact of the matter is, when a shark is hungry, they are not going to be picky!! They're known for eating seals, sea lions, and other creatures that hover between land and sea, and for certain species like Tiger Sharks, they're perfectly fine with catching birds right out of the air. 2. Archer Fish When it comes to a creature of the water getting a creature on the land, or in the air, they usually have to develop a special technique. The Archer Fish preys on bugs and other small creatures that hover too close to the water. And with the Archer Fish, they have arguably gotten the most unique, and potentially epic, adaptation of all: the ability to shoot water like a bullet. 1. Orcas While Orcas are not fish, I had to include them on this list because they are very impressive apex predators!! These guys are known as Killer Whales for a reason and they have earned that title by killing creatures both in the water and on land. Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

In this episode, we are going deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico for giant saltwater fish like Yellowfin Tuna and Swordfish. Launching out of Venice Louisiana with Mexican Gulf Fishing Company, my boss and and a few of our friends came together for an epic summer fishing trip. Before the first hour, we experienced a flood of Tuna! I had never caught a tuna and none of us had ever caught a swordfish. We used the Shimano Beaster 9000 electric fishing reel to reel in the huge swordfish in deep water. I also fulfilled a bucket list item of catching a tuna and eating the meat right at the dock. hello. Giant fish trap (looking for food) this is our latest video after a long time. At first we made a pan for cooking. We have woven a big cage to trap fish. We went to a deserted sea to catch fish. We caught shrimp as bait for fish traps. We caught 2 fish. 1 very big fish and 1 small fish. We released the small fish to the sea. We will continue to make the next videos about original technology and wild survival skills. Hope everyone will support us by subscribing to channels and sharing videos. Thank you. channel: https://goo.gl/v4LiKJ
