What could make a craft as massive as a Boeing 747 vanishes into thin air? Here are 7 missing flights that vanished over the ocean! SUBSCRIBE for the latest videos: https://goo.gl/7xzjzR Don't forget to CHECK OUT our latest upload: https://goo.gl/LUB8Xw 7. Amelia Earhart In 1932, Earhart became the first woman and second only to Charles Lindbergh, who would make a non-stop flight across the Atlantic, from Canada to Ireland. In July of 1937, the fearless female announced another solo voyage, this time to circumnavigate the entire globe. What occurred in the midst of her expedition, however, will forever remain a mystery. After departing, Earhart and her twin-engine Lockheed Electra subsequently vanished without a trace, somewhere high in the sky over the looming Pacific. While the pilot and her plane never surfaced among the treacherous waters. 6. Glenn Miller When the world lost one of the greatest big-band leaders and innovator of the swing genre, the American music industry and its steadfast fanbase were devastated. Glenn Miller was a trombonist, arranger, composer, and bandleader who inspired music enthusiasts in the midst of a war-stricken world. He was the best-selling recording artist from 1939 to 1943, so when the plane he boarded was never seen again, rumors ran wild. All that is known of the venture lies in speculation that the craft crashed into the English Channel after ice-covered wings led to subsequent engine failure. 5. British South American Star Tiger & Star Ariel January 30th, 1948, a British South American Airways plane named Star Tiger took off from Azores archipelago in order to complete the last leg of a flight from London to Bermuda. The pilot swiftly reported problems with the plane’s heater and navigational instruments moments before takeoff, so to ensure extra precautions, the airliner was to follow a fellow Lancastrian plane. In addition to this, the vessel was ordered to fly at a dangerously low-level of 2000 feet, which would keep the plane at a warmer temperature during the voyageWhen the Lancastrian plane landed with no Star Tiger in sight, ground control began to worry. While rescue crews searched the areas in between, all twenty-five of the people on board as well as six crew members were never seen again. Recent investigations blame the unreliable design of the plane, strong gales of wind to propel the plane toward the sea, and the irresponsible decision to fly so low. 4. Air France Flight 447 Around the early hours of June 1st, 2009, Air France Flight 447 went missing en route from Rio de Janeiro to Paris while carrying 216 passengers and twelve crewmen. The mighty liner disappeared in the middle of the ocean, seemingly shrouded in darkness far beyond the reach of radar coverage. Air France officials, feeling shocked and stumped on what could have happened, spent the next six hours attempting to concede the loss; yet for several days to follow, not a trace of the vessel could be found. When the wreckage was finally discovered floating in the vast expanse of the Atlantic, investigators determined the plane had crashed belly-first while traveling at a speed of 152 knots. According to findings, the craft had flown into the thicket of a thunderstorm, despite no sign of a distress signal and the jet being in a state-of-art condition at the time. 3. Flying Tiger Flight 739 In March 1962, during the beginning stages of the Vietnam War, United States Army Flying Tiger Flight 739, disappeared into the sky. Investigators soon linked the explosion to the perplexities surrounding the vanished vessel. As no distress calls were received, it was challenging for air-traffic control centers to pinpoint the time when things began to go haywire for those onboard. An eight-day search party including 1,300 people, 48 aircrafts, and 8 surface combatants covered over 144,000 square miles of the open sea 2. Flight 19 over the Bermuda Triangle. Conspiracy theorists love the bizarre area connecting Miami, Bermuda, and Puerto Rico, especially considering the region has long been a hotspot for aviation disappearance. As dozens of aircrafts have vanished without a trace over this strange zone of land and sea, the most popular accusations point to paranormal activity and extraterrestrials. 1. Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 One of the most popular missing aircraft cases and conspiracies in aviation involve the case of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. In a book titled Flight MH370: The Mystery, a UK writer by the name of Nigel Cawthorne, depicts the plane’s disappearance as— “The greatest mystery since the Mary Celeste.” Celeste forever stands as a culprit for paranormal theory after she was discovered adrift and deserted, perfectly intact with every lifeboat yet not a single soul on board. Yet neither Flight 370 nor its passengers were ever found.

The Bermuda Triangle is one of the biggest mysteries in the world. This region, shaped in the form of a triangle, is situated in the North Atlantic Ocean between Miami, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda. More than 150 planes, cargo ships, and smaller vessels have met their demise in this cursed area. Even with modern technology and communication systems, vessels still keep vanishing. The latest discovery may shed a different light on the eternal enigma. TIMESTAMPS: The most recent accident 1:45 The methane gas theory 5:12 Wormholes theory 5:44 Waterspouts theory 6:06 A hole in the electromagnetic forces of the planet 6:27 The human error theory 6:47 The alien theory 7:11 Enormous rogue waves 7:49 Holes in the sea 10:05 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The most recent accident was also the most disastrous for the last 30 years, and it happened on October 1, 2015. That day, the huge cargo ship SS El Faro went missing in the area of the Bermuda Triangle. The search continued for weeks, and SS El Faro was finally spotted. It was positioned upright and in one piece at a depth of 15,000 ft in the Atlantic. The search party found no trace of the crew. - Some researchers believe that ships and planes crash and disappear in the area due to methane gas. And it has indeed been proved that there are massive stores of this gas in some areas of the ocean floor. Therefore, when gas is released into the water, the process can sink ships and make planes crash. - The wormholes theory is preferred by those who love sci-fi. In short, a wormhole is a space-time shortcut. While the existence of wormholes hasn't been proven yet, this doesn't stop some people from believing that this phenomenon is what causes vanishings in the Bermuda Triangle. - Waterspouts (more simply, tornados at sea) are said to have been spotted in the Bermuda Triangle. This weather phenomenon sucks water many feet up into the air. Potentially, this can make a ship disappear with eerie ease. - Compasses are reported to malfunction in the Bermuda Triangle. This place is one of the few on Earth where compasses have problems pointing north. This can lead to sailors and pilots going off their course. - The human error theory sounds rather disappointing for those who love mysteries! However, some people are sure that all the crashes and disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle happen due to people's mistakes. There are too many confusing islands that are hard to distinguish from one another as well as the difficult weather condition. - No mystery can exist without an explanation of alien interference. It's just too convenient to blame disappearances on extraterrestrial forces. Though why aliens would choose exactly this area for their abductions remains unknown. - The most recent findings of scientists allow them to claim that the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle has finally been solved. The culprits are huge sea monsters! But when we say “monsters,” we do not mean living creatures. They are enormous rogue waves that were believed to be a myth. Rogue waves are terrifying and anomalous. They are massive walls of water that move across the ocean. Rogue waves can have a force of 9 metric tons per square foot. To compare, the average 40-ft-high wave has a force of only 0.5 metric tons per square foot. Following a popular revolution, in the spring of 2011 more than twenty-three thousand people took advantage of the momentary opening of the borders and left the Tunisian coast. These migrants traveled to the Italian coast on small and old ships. 4 of these boats have disappeared. In the months following the disappearance, the radio agency Amisnet went to Tunis to meet with the families of missing persons. During a visit, Saida, one of the mothers of the children left, sang a arab song. Here the translation: "You who go away, traveler, bring this message to Hattab, you who go away, bring my pain to my dear, bird, I write you a few lines and I ask you please to bring them to the land of the Italians and please give me back my dear. Light bird, you that fly fast in the clear sky, repeat my message. When you arrive in Italy, please, denounce the Italian president who hid my dear" This audio story is part of the Across the Sea, a project aimed at documenting migrations journeys along main routes of the Mediterranean Sea. The titan of the sea, the great unsinkable ship that sank – over a century later, the mystery of the Titanic is still being studied to this day. Only a third of the ship’s passengers survived, while over 1,500 lost their lives. But out of all those casualties, only 340 bodies were recovered. So, the question remains: what happened to the remaining 1,160? Other videos you might like: Scientists Have Found The Titanic Will Disappear Soon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p57BPLgEHiY& The Truth About the Titanic Has Been Revealed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yxdRTaAp5Fw& 10 Shocking Theories That'll Make You Question Everything https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2ryNz9ZYEs& TIMESTAMPS: Why there were only 20 lifeboats 0:32 Why the Titanic’s lookouts didn't see the iceberg 1:32 Why the ship was sailing at an unsafe speed 2:25 Why some of the bodies weren't found 2:56 The Unsinkable Molly Brown 4:32 Lucky Lawrence Beesley 5:46 How Violet Constance Jessop survived... twice 6:26 Who were on the first lifeboat 7:20 #titanic #titanicbodies #titanicsurvivers Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - The Titanic didn’t have enough lifeboats for all its passengers. There were only 20, and they needed 60 to be able to carry everybody on board to safety. - Perhaps those poor souls could’ve been rescued from the bone-chilling waters a lot sooner if the closest ships passing by the Titanic’s crash site had seen the flairs and other distress signals being sent. - The ship was also moving much faster than the speed it was built for. The reason for this was that the ship’s owner, White Star Line, didn’t want to fall behind schedule. - Only hours after the Titanic sank, a massive storm came over the ocean. The currents and winds would’ve swept many bodies up to 50 miles away from the crash site. - Of course, there were those victims that went down with the ship, and they had no chance of being retrieved. As for the bodies that were recovered, some were given a proper burial at sea if there wasn’t room for them on the rescue ship. - The brave and selfless woman earned herself the nickname “The Unsinkable Molly Brown,” and after the ship went down, she tried her best to get as many passengers as she could into the lifeboats. - There was also author, journalist, and teacher, Lawrence Beesley. He later wrote a book that brought him a lot of success called The Loss of the SS Titanic. - Another survivor was Violet Constance Jessop, who was a stewardess on the ship. Jessop hadn’t planned to work on the Titanic until her friends convinced her to apply for the job. - Dorothy Gibson, a beautiful American singer, model, and silent film actress was also a survivor of the Titanic. Gibson was one of the richer and more famous aboard the ship. Until now, there was no explanation for the disappearance of three lighthouse keepers from Eilean Mor island, in the bitterly cold Christmas season of the year 1900. Before the automation of the 1970's a lighthouse required at least two keepers, one to operate the beacon while the other slept. If only two were stationed, because they had to work and live in close quarters, there was always the danger that one man would murder the other. Better to assign three men. What could possibly go wrong? The Flannan islands are seven rocky spurs that suffer harsh North Atlantic weather. Stony outcrops endanger shipping vessels which stray but slightly "off course", in the absence of a working lighthouse. Thus one was built on largest of the islands, Eilean Mor, which is only a few hundred yards across. The standard crew of three lighthouse keepers was stranded on Eilean Mor because the isle had no boat of its own. There were no beaches, only steep faces of cliff on all sides. Supplies or visitors were fitted with a harness and hoisted ashore by winch and crane. The Northern Lighthouse Board of Scotland, or the "NLB", mandated that men on duty be rotated out one at a time. On the day after Christmas the relief vessel Hesperus arrived. But there was no one on the landing to operate the crane. The Hesperus fired off a rocket to get the attention of the station. No one came in response to the flare. The ship lowered a boat and the relief man alone was able to make it ashore. At the lighthouse keeper's cottage he found the door closed, but it was unlocked. When he opened it, three birds with dark feathers flew out of the door, of a species he could not identify. Inside the beds were neatly made. The station was tidy. The dishes were clean - their last meal had been at lunchtime. No sign of distress. The captain of the Hesperus dispatched a wireless telegram to the NLB that all three men had vanished into the night, without a trace. The Superintendent of the NLB investigated the island. Three sets of outdoor gear had been issued, waterproof coats called "oilskins". Only two were missing. The third oilskin was still on a hook in the cottage. The Superintendent copied the most recent entries from the log book. After he left the island the log book disappeared. The log reported unusually calm weather. Computer analysis of historical area records confirmed calm weather leading up to the day of the last entry, and for several days thereafter. The log also reported tensions between the men. Thomas Marshall was the gentle giant but he became unusually quiet and withdrawn. James Ducat was the senior lighthouse keeper, with decades of experience. He would never allow the cardinal rule to be broken. One man was to stay inside the cottage at all times. The third man, Donald MacArthur, was a drinker who often got into fights at the pub. Only conjecture remains to explain the disappearance. Were they swept away by waves from a seaquake, or captured by a ghost ship, or devoured by a sea monster? Perhaps they were abducted by aliens. Perhaps the supervisor, Ducat, confiscated a bottle of rum that MacArthur had smuggled onto the island, and locked it up. The good natured Marshall was in the lighthouse, waiting to be relieved by the chief. MacArthur tiptoed outside, leaving his coat behind on the hook to make it look like he was still in bed. He waited for Ducat to appear. He only wanted the key to the locker. But his club came down a little hard, cracking open the skull of the supervisor. When Marshall finally left his post in the lighthouse intending to wake up his relief, he was subjected to the vilest of crimes when MacArthur committed a second murder, to cover the first. It would be easy for MacArthur to dispose of the bodies and invent a cover story. But as is often the case with short-tempered bullies, MacArthur was also weak-willed, and when he woke up the next morning he was so striken with remorse that he threw himself into the sea. Just because he had sobered up. This group exhibition draws attention to the journey undertaken by migrants and refugees to cross the Mediterranean Sea. Mare Nostrum, literally ‘our sea’, is the Latin name for the Mediterranean. During 2015, some one million people sought to make the crossing, travelling through Turkey and Greece and from Libya to Italy, forced by wars in the Middle East, in Syria, Libya and Egypt, compelled by persecution. It has been the largest exodus of people in our times and it continues. The exhibition includes several new commissions and a broad range of artworks by artists from Syria, Greece, Serbia, Denmark, Kenya and the UK, who have explored ways of addressing this humanitarian disaster. Earth is getting warmer, and everything’s melting. But according to Gizmodo's Earther, things are a bit more complicated on the other side of the planet. It seems the latest Antarctic sea ice slump has scientists scratching their heads. The National Snow and Ice Data Center reports Antarctica rang in the new year with record-low levels of sea ice. On January 1st, sea ice covered a paltry 2.11 million square miles of water in the Southern Ocean rimming the continent. That's 726,000 square miles below the long-term average for that date. And while climate change may be partly behind the drop, scientists are puzzled as to why it's happening the second year in a row. https://earther.gizmodo.com/antarctic-sea-ice-is-in-record-low-territory-again-and-1831498131 http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com

BERMUDA TRIANGLE: SHIP REAPPEARS 90 YEARS AFTER GOING MISSING

The deterioration of the Dead Sea has been observed and known for decades,The Dead Sea is currently 430 meters below sea level. Since Israel’s founding in 1948, the sea level has fallen by 40 meters,The sinkholes around the Dead Sea can be up to 24 meters deep, though most are much shallower. At 1,407 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest place on the surface of the planet and, though its name suggests something more massive, is little more than a lake at the mouth of the Jordan River. Only microbial life can survive its saline waters, which are ten times saltier than the oceans.Sinkholes, , started appearing in this region in the 1980s, the result of underground fresh water coming into contact with the old subterranean salt layer, depositing there for thousands of years. The freshwater washes the salt away, creating an underground void into which the surface collapses. Scientists don’t know when, and sometimes even where, a sinkhole may swallow the next patch of land. It is one of the most beautiful but yet one of the most dangerous places on Earth.

Here in the moon scene, It is a cruel dream, Don't share the past, if you won't share your heart, All that we share is the view of these stars... There are diamonds on the floor you can't take back, There's an eyelash on the board, does she wear black? All the violence that I swore you could have back, There's red varnish on the door, I don't wear that... I called it the moon scene, It is a cruel dream, From up so high, I can hardly decide, If you're waving hello, or waving goodbye, Here in the moon scene, It is a cruel dream, Don't share the past, if you won't share your heart, All that we share is the view of these stars... There are diamonds on the floor you can't take back, There's an eyelash on the board, does she wear black? All the violence that I swore you could have back, There's red varnish on the door, I don't wear that... And I'll be in the back of your mind, And I'll be at the front of the line, And I'll be in the back of your mind, And I'll be at the front of the line, Waiting for you... There are diamonds on the floor you can't take back, There's an eyelash on the board, does she wear black? All the violence that I swore you could have back, There's red varnish on the door, I don't wear that...

(15 Aug 2017) Ice melt in the summer is normal, but scientists and mariners say it's thinner now, disappearing earlier in the summer, and returning later in fall. Since the first orbital images in 1979, arctic sea ice coverage has dropped by an average of about 34,000 square miles each year. That's about the size of the state of Maine. This has global consequences as the planet absorbs more and more heat. Locally, it's a whole ecosystem that is threatened, from plankton under the ice at the bottom of the food chain, all the way to the polar bear.
