Importing from China - Sourcing Products from Chinese Suppliers

06:35
Importing from China is a fantastic way to source private label products. Chinese suppliers are high-profit, low-cost! Interested in making $10,000/Month? Download our free ebook here: http://wholesaleted.com/4-step Please note: this description contains affiliate links Importing from China is something that I strongly recommend. It is much cheaper to purchase product from Chinese suppliers compared to USA suppliers. Some people find this idea very daunting, especially the cultural barrier. To help you, we’ve created this video outlining some of our top tips when importing from China. Tip #1: Order the minimal order quantity to start with when importing from China To be on the safe side, you should always start with the minimal order quantity when dealing with a new supplier. I understand that a lot of sellers want to start out by ordering larger quantities. This makes sense, because the more you order the lower the cost is per-item, and the higher your profit margins. It also means that you will have a smaller chance of running out of stock. In Spite of this, when importing from China with a new Chinese supplier, I recommend starting with the minimal order quantity (EVEN if you know it’ll sell well) because you want to test the quality. It is much harder to go from producing 1 unit to producing 200… and even harder to go from producing 200 to 1000. On that note, you should ALWAYS be ordering a test product when dealing with a new Chinese supplier! You’ll have to pay for the shipping, but it is extremely important to do this to check the quality even if the supplier has a lot of reviews on Alibaba. Tip #2: Do due diligence on the supplier That said, reviews on Alibaba are very important. When using Alibaba to source Chinese suppliers, check the reviews. Only work with suppliers that have positive reviews. Be sure to check the address of the supplier on Google Maps. Ensure that there is a factory at the address noted. If there isn’t a factory, then it is likely a middle man… which means you’re paying inflated prices, and not the at-cost price. And pick up the phone and give them a call. Make sure someone picks up the phone and talks to you (yes - this may seem obvious, but a lot of people don’t do this simple thing). Even better is if you can find people who can personally recommend Chinese suppliers to you. This way, you can work with suppliers that you can trust from the get-go. Tip #3: Build a strong relationship with your supplier and representative This is an important lesson not just when importing from China but for business and life in general. Treat people with respect and they will treat you with respect as well. Think about it: If someone was disrespectful to you, would you want to help them? On the other hand, if someone is nice to you, don’t you want to help them? Be respectful, and friendly. In addition, Chinese suppliers like you to be formal in your communication style with them. They like to be told directly that you appreciate their business and are happy with the products being produced. They will be hoping to turn you into a long-term client, and want the positive feedback, so be sure to give it to them. Tip #4: Don’t feel you need to speak Mandarin When importing from China, some people get put off by the perceived language barrier. “But I only know English… can I still import from China?” Yes - you can! Chinese factories have English representatives specifically for people like you. Their English is good and you’ll have minimal language barriers. Don’t let this stop you from profiting from the very cheap products you can source from China. Now, when importing from China there are some things you can do to minimize the language barrier. One, use short sentences, and do not include extra fluff. Be straight to the point. Two, use professional language, do not use slang. Three, be aware that there are multiple types of “English.” Four, don’t assume that your representative knows YOUR particular flavour of English. Avoid country-specific words and isms. Tip #5: Remember that when importing from China “yes” doesn’t always mean YES. In China it is considered impolite for the suppliers to say no. So, even when they want to say no… they are unlikely to, and will often say yes instead. However, this doesn’t mean it is a yes. It is a no. But they will say “yes” anyway. It is one frustrating quirk. If you sense any hesitation in their “yes” ask them the same question, be reworded differently multiple times. If you ever get a “maybe” that is almost always a no! We hope you enjoyed our video and learned some tips for importing from Chinese suppliers. Do you want to learn how to earn over $10,000 a month on Amazon, with dropshipping? How Do You Trade ETFs? | Fidelity

02:53
This video will teach you the basics of trading ETFs. Find out more about exchange-traded funds with us at the https://www.fidelity.com/learning-center/investment-products/etf/overview To see more videos from Fidelity Investments, subscribe to: https://www.youtube.com/fidelityinvestments Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/fidelityinvestments Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/fidelity Google+: https://plus.google.com/+fidelity LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/fidelity-investments ---------------------------------------------------- How do you trade ETFs? It’s a great question. The fact that ETFs trade on an exchange like stocks is one of their biggest selling points. It means you can trade any time the market’s open, rather than waiting until the end of the day like you do with traditional mutual funds. You can also trade an ETF the same way you would trade any stock: You can buy it on margin, if you have that feature in your account. You can even short sell most ETFs. But this liquidity comes with several costs which are important to keep in mind when you’re investing in ETFs. Let’s talk more about two of these costs…The first cost is obvious: the commission. Like with any stock, you have to pay a commission when you buy or sell an ETF. This can really add up if you trade a lot. Imagine, for instance, that each month you invest $1,000 into a basket of five different ETFs. Five times $7.95 per trade is close to 40 dollars, or 4% of your total investment. The good news is that most brokerage firms now offer a certain number of ETFs commission-free. You should consider these carefully, as saving on commissions can be a big deal. The spread is the difference between where someone is willing to buy an ETF (or a stock) at and where someone is willing to sell. For instance, if an ETF is trading at $20/share, you might see that it has an “average spread” of “$0.01.” That means you can buy the ETF for $20.01, but you can only sell it for $20.00. Another ETF might show an average spread of “$0.25,” which means you have to buy the ETF for $20.25, but you can only sell it for $20.00. The smaller the spread, the better. Lastly, it’s smart to use good basic trading practices. In general, you should consider using limit orders which are instructions to buy or sell securities at a specific price or better. But remember, if your limit is set to something unrealistic, or if the market’s moving quickly, you’ll need to monitor and adjust your limits to make sure you get your trade executed and you get the price you want – or better. So let’s review a few key points when it comes to trading ETFs: • Remember commissions. • Look at the spread. • Consider using limit orders. ETFs now make up about a quarter of all the volume on the New York Stock Exchange, so plenty of investors are trading ETFs. With a little care and effort, you can too! Using your Vanguard Brokerage Account

03:08
Watch this short video to learn how your brokerage account works and about the different types of investments you can hold. All investing is subject to risk, including the possible loss of the money you invest. The possibility of lower account service fees is based on the potential fee in a single Vanguard brokerage account versus potential fees across multiple mutual fund accounts. **For more information about Vanguard funds, Vanguard ETF shares, or non-Vanguard funds offered through Vanguard Brokerage Services, visit vanguard.com, or call 800-662-2739, to obtain a prospectus. Investment objectives, risks, charges, expenses, and other important information about a fund are contained in the prospectus; read and consider it carefully before investing.** An investment in a money market fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although a money market fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in such a fund. You must buy and sell Vanguard ETF Shares through a broker like Vanguard Brokerage Services (we offer them commission-free) or through another broker (you may incur commissions). See the Vanguard Brokerage Services commission and fee schedules for limits. Vanguard ETF Shares are not redeemable directly with the issuing fund other than in creation unit aggregations. Like stocks, ETFs are subject to market volatility. When buying or selling an ETF, you will pay or receive the current market price, which may be more or less than net asset value. Vanguard funds not held in a brokerage account are held by The Vanguard Group, Inc., and aren’t protected by SIPC. Brokerage assets are held by Vanguard Brokerage Services, a division of Vanguard Marketing Corporation (VMC), member FINRA and SIPC. Investing for Teenagers

We were thrilled with all of the questions we got from teenagers wanting to invest in the stock market after our last video. Instead of answering everyone individually, we decided to make a video about it! In the video we discuss how we would invest in the stock market if we were under 18. Keep in mind, we're not qualified to give you this kind of advice. We just remember being young and confused. All we wanted was someone to spell out ONE WAY of investing, just to show how it works. UPDATE: You need what's called a "custodial account" at vanguard if you're under 18. You have to call them to set it up. Do you ever feel like you don’t know where to start? Let's tackle two of the most basic investing types you should know: Stocks and Bonds Let’s start with Stocks. When a company needs money to expand or grow their business, they can sell stock to the public. In exchange for that money, the INVESTORS (the people who buy a stock) now “own” a piece of that company. Investors can make money on stocks by buying them when they have a lower value and selling them when they have more value. Investors can also make money by sharing in a regular payout from the company to its shareholders, something that’s also known as DIVIDENDS. Not all companies pay regular dividends, but when they occur, dividends and changes in share price are both part of total return, which is your total gain or loss on an investment. What about Bonds? When you buy a bond, you are actually loaning money to a company, government, or government agency. The money is typically used for things like construction and other projects. During the life of the bond, an investor gets paid interest at steady, predetermined times. Interest is basically the money you are given by the borrower in return for lending them the money. At the end of the loan’s life, the borrower returns the money you initially lent them. You can trade bonds in the market, just like you can trade a stock. Bonds are considered less risky investments than stocks, but they also typically have lower total returns. So what did we learn? A Stock: A share in the ownership of a company A Bond: An interest-earning loan you make to a company or government. Top 10 Ways to Earn Passive Income I'm doing it right now!

09:16
I give you 10 ways to earn passive income. I'm currently doing it in 5 of the ways, and plan to experiment with the rest over the next few years. Here they are: Teach Online Courses: Many of you know that I have a number of online courses that I sell on sites such as Udemy.com, Skillfeed.com, or Skillshare.com. I began in October 2012, and it has been my most successful form of earning passive income. I’ve made tens of thousands of dollars from selling courses. This money has helped pay for a car in cash, go on vacation to the Philippines, pay down student loans, buy an engagement ring, have a wedding, and lots more! Sell eBooks on Amazon: I started selling two eBooks on Amazon in October, 2014. One is about Teaching Online courses, and the other is about starting a Freelance Business. Since launching, they continue to sell about 5 copies per day. Averaging an extra $100 per month is amazing! Start a YouTube channel: A while back, YouTube started allowing anyone to become a partner and put ads on their videos. I know that you hate having to watch ads on YouTube, but on the other side of those ads is a creator who is trying to make a little bit of extra income through their hard work. I have two channels that bring in some extra dough each month - my Video School Online channel & my Cat Video channel. The cat channel video is making about $6 a month. It’s not a huge amount, but it does pay for a new toy or treat for our dear Zorah each month! Cat YouTube Channel Earnings Become an Affiliate: If you have a website that contains useful information to viewers, you can put affiliate ads on the site. When someone clicks on those links and purchases something, you make a little bit of information. For example, on my resources page, I share some of my favorite resources including ThemeForest (where I purchase web themes from). I love sharing their website because I truly believe in them, and use them. It also helps the viewer out who is wanting to build their own website. And I get a few bucks when someone clicks through that link and buys something. You can become an Affiliate for most websites. Just scroll to the bottom of the website, and in the footer is usually a link for ‘affiliates’ or ‘partners.’ Investing for Retirement: From a young age, I have always been smart about money. I remember being a teenager and keeping money in an Etrade account and investing in General Electric. This was my first retirement account. Now, I try to put away any extra money (mostly money made passively from the above methods) into retirement accounts and other investment accounts. Now, I’m not a financial advisor, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. But I think it’s really important to start saving now (or as early as possible). If you’re not already saving, it’s too late. Why is this passive income? Investing is literally the easiest way to make passive income. On average, the markets have increased about 7% since the beginning of the stock market. So each year, you can average about 7% returns. Adjusting for inflation, this may be closer to growing your money 3-5%. So if you have $100,000 in savings, you make an extra $7,000 per year. But you don’t have to start there. Start with $100. You’ll make about $7 on an average year. And grow from there. In other words even though consumers made more money, they didn’t spend it. Construction spending for April was up 2.2% to an annual rate of $1 trillion, the highest level in over 6 years. As a result, markets closed up slightly. On Tuesday, factory orders for April were down .4%, still weak and below expectations. However, total vehicle sales for May were extremely strong, coming at 17.8 million units, the best numbers since 2005. The mixed economic news, along with Greece’s claims that it can’t make its debt repayment to the IMF on Friday, pushed markets slightly lower. On Wednesday, the ADP employment report for May was 201,000, about in line with expectations, and the ISM non-manufacturing index for May was down 3.6% to 55.7, again, within expectations. The U.S. trade deficit fell to $40.9 billion in April, down $9.7 billion from the prior month, however, the prior month’s number was distorted due to a port strike. Bonds rallied significantly with the 10-year treasury hitting 2.38%, and markets closed up modestly. On Thursday, jobless claims for the week ending May 30th were 276,000, down 8,000, and non-farm productivity for the first quarter fell 3.1%, while unit labor costs during the same period rose 6.7%. Markets ended the day significantly lower. On Friday, the non-farm payroll report for May showed a gain in jobs of 280,000, up 59,000 from the prior month and the unemployment rate went up .1% to 5.5%. The jobs number was a big surprise on the upside. Stocks were down slightly on the news, while bond yields shot up. Now let’s take a look at some stocks. Intel Corporation announced Monday that they will acquire competing chip maker Altera, for $54 per share in a deal worth $16.7 billion. Intel is seeking to expand their product-line with the acquisition; Intel’s chips currently are used mostly in personal computers whereas Altera manufactures chips that are programmable by users after they purchase the hardware. LinkedIn Corporation shares rallied this week following rumors that activist investors expressed interest in picking up a stake in the company. Shares are up more than 5% since last week’s close of almost $195. FireEye, Inc. shares shot up 2.9% Thursday, to above $49, after they announced a partnership with Visa with the intention of preventing future cyber-attacks on payment data. FireEye also offered an outlook that stated the company will be cash-flow positive by mid-2016. Bio-Reference Laboratories Inc. shares soared as much as 35% on Thursday after the company signed a merger agreement with Opko Health Inc. The merger will cost Opko approximately $1.5 billion, or $52.58 per share, and will allow Opko access to Bio-Re June 5, 2015 Weekly Stock Market Wrap-up: Intel Corporation(NASDAQ:INTC) LinkedIn Corp(NYSE:LNKD) FireEye Inc(NASDAQ:FEYE) Bio-Reference Laboratories Inc(NASDAQ:BRLI) Business News - Financial News - Stock Exchange - New York Stock Exchange -- Wall Street -- Market News 2015 http://www.financialbuzz.com financial news, financial stock news, business news, stock news, financial news today, stock news today 2015, financial news now, stock news now, stock news, business news, financial news, © 2011 Financial Buzz. How to Buy a Car: Top 6 Tips to Buy New Cars

09:44
How to Buy a Car: Top 6 Tips to Buy New Cars details the top six things new car buyers don’t investigate, but should: NEW CARS: BUILD DATE A listener of mine on Radio 2UE in Sydney put a deposit down to buy a new car in January 2015. It turns out the new car - a Suzuki S-Cross - was actually built in 2013. The compliance plate went on in 2014, and the new car was set for delivery in 2015. Disaster. Get a discount on your next new car if you’re actually buying old stock - last year’s model - because you are certainly going to pay for it at trade-in time. NEW CARS: SPARE TYRE When you buy a car, check the spare tyre. Space saver spare tyres are one of the car industry’s great, enduring frauds. They are of absolutely no benefit to you on a new car. They’re limited to 80km/h, and they don’t grip the road very well. Always investigate your intended new car’s spare tyre, at the dealership, before paying a deposit - and sometimes you can negotiate to fit a full-sized spare when you buy the new car. If it’s critical to the new car sale, the car dealer might even throw it in for free. If you only ever drive 15 or 20km from home in suburbia, space-savers are probably OK. But if you get out on the highway, even occasionally, don’t risk your life by buying a car with a space-saver. They’re a joke. NEW CARS: LIGHTS You don’t normally test drive new cars at night, right? But there are two things you really should check here: outside the new car, you need to know whether the headlights - and in particular the high beams - are adequate. Some new cars are just anorexic in the high beam department. Again, not so important if you only ever drive in the city, or suburbia. But very important in the country. Inside the new car, the reverse applies. Dimmers on instruments are great for driving in isolated areas at night - you dim the instrument lights down to maximise night vision out there on the road ahead. Very important. But the big, fat centre LCD display often doesn’t dim sufficiently (or at all) for night driving. NEW CARS: DEPRECIATION There are two ways to lose money on a car. You can pay too much for it up front, or the depreciation can burn you at the back end of the deal. OK - all cars depreciate, but some depreciate like Dresden on the ides of February, 1945. A classic example here was in last month’s Ford Territory review - which Ford fans hated, principally because it’s such a lemon. Mechanically as well as on the depreciation front. It pays to do your homework on depreciation - and here, past performances are excellent indicators of the future. NEW CARS: UPDATE TIMING You don't want to buy a nice new whatever, and see the manufacturer upgrade it four weeks later. Even a mid-life upgrade is a bit of a disaster because a) it usually comes with more standard equipment at the same price and b) the one you bought - the suddenly ‘old’ model - becomes instantly obsolete and its value takes an immediate hit. You need to let your keyboard do the walking here: google the car you want and keywords like update, upgrade, plus the current year and the next year. Find out what’s going on in the near future. NEW CARS: FIRE SALES Here's what the car industry does with its marketplace dogs. When all else fails, and sales have flatlined, the manufacturer bends over and drops its pants. Every time. They fire-sale the price in an attempt to prop up or stimulate sales. Generally unsuccessfully. Holden dropped its pants on the latest Cruze and Commodore, and Ford has just played the same undignified card with the Territory. Although none of them put it like that in the press releases... So I guess that's good news if you desperately want a Cruze, a Commodore or a Territory… Of course, if you actually bought one of these marketplace lemons a few months earlier, guess what happens to the value of your car? It just evaporates. Desperation discounting by manufacturers slashes the same amount from the value of the lemon you own - because used car prices vary directly in line with replacement cost. So there you go: Six things you probably weren’t considering while you’re poring over the specs and the pretty pix of your possible next new vehicle.

How To Sell on Ebay - Complete Guide

18:06
This video will show you how to list an update on eBay to sell. I will show you every step from listing to shipping. ================= ** Digital Scales you can purchase: 1) Smart Weigh Digital Shipping and Postal Weight Scale, 110 lbs http://amzn.to/2wbw9uk 2) Smart Weigh Digital Heavy Duty Shipping and Postal Scale 440 lbs http://amzn.to/2gc2HQM ================= ** I HAVE LISTED THE COMMON Q & A. PLEASE READ IT FIRST BEFORE POSTING QUESTIONS. THANK YOU ** Q: So when you sell an item on ebay and select a shipping method do you go to any postal place and give it to them? A: You can print and prepay for the item at home, then take it post office and mail it, or print a mailing label and take it post office and pay for shipping there. Q: What happens if you sell the item, sent it to their home, and they do a charge back and lie about not receiving item when they did? what do you do? A: All you can do is use tracking to confirm delivery, and hope people are honest. You also have the ebay rating for the person. So hopefully that will vet out who is scamming others. Q: So if i don't have a printer i can just go to my local post office and ship it there? What information do i need when using this method? A: You need a mailing label with sender and receiver address. This can be hand written if you want. Then post office will place the postage sticker on the package. Q: So after purchasing the shipping label, if I go to my local post office, can I just hand it in and no additional costs will apply? A: Once you purchase that postal label, it's paid for, and you need to stick it on the box, and take it to the post office. It's paid already so you don't pay anymore,. You are just dropping the package off to have it shipped out. Q: With all the fees and postage, how do you figure asking price to not end up losing money? A: Your asking price is solely dependent on what other sellers are selling the same item for. If you ask for more than what others are selling at, nobody will buy your item. If you are not comfortable selling it at the market price, then you are better off not selling it. Q: I am confused when it comes to the shipping cost. You originally set the shipping cost at $9, but once you chose the way you wanted to ship the item it came out to $10 plus. So did the difference come out of your pocket, or did the buyers? A: Yes, I paid out the difference. When you preset a shipping cost, you really don't know where that winning buyer is located. If that person lives in your state, then shipping is cheap and you can make money on the shipping. But if the person lives across the country, then it can cost a lot. When you preset a postage price in your auction, you have to be prepared for this to happen. Just choose a reasonable shipping rate so it will attract buyers and cover most of your cost. For people that might say...how about charge more for shipping....well be careful as you might price yourself way higher than all the other sellers and never sell your item. My only advice is don't get too hung up on loosing couple dollars on the shipping, if you are able to sell your item, and you made some money, then it's money in your pocket. Versus not selling anything and have that item sit at home and you made $0. Q: Do you need to get your own boxes? And also how do you know how much you'll have to charge shipping? A: Yes you supply your own box, unless you ship using USPS Priority mail, then you use there boxes. As to how much you charge shipping, you can go on USPS and get an estimate. The difficulty is estimating where the winning bidder is from (near you or opposite side of the country which will be higher shipping). You can just charge a flat rate shipping and expect to either pay a few dollars more to ship at the end if the person lives far away. If you charge too much shipping right off the bat, then you risk no one buying it. Q: Can you use FedEx or any shipping method that you like? A: You can ship however you like as long as you get it to the buyer in a timely manner. Preferably with tracking information. Q: So will I have the money in my PayPal account before I purchase the shipping label or do they have to receive it first before I get paid? A: You don't ship until you get the money deposited in your Paypal. Ebay will also only give you the option to ship after payment has been made by the buyer. Q: You say you can pick up free boxes at the post office. Are flat rate boxes free or not? A: Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping is a fixed shipping rate you pay USPS. In order for you to ship using the Flat rate with USPS, you need to use their 'free' boxes which you can pick up for free at USPS. The reason for using their box is they predetermine the size and how much you can fit in it to qualify for their flat rate. When you go to the post office, you will see a shelves with these boxes which you can take as many as you want.
