He caught the eye of US partners in a multi-million rand deal which made him one of the most successful business men. Mxolisi Dukwana says Former Free State premier who is now the current ANC secretary general Ace Magashule took former MEC to the Guptas' Saxonwold compound in 2011, where Tony Gupta offered him R2 million in exchange for a New City project that was in the pipeline. Dukwana, who was MEC for Economic Development at the time says this wasn't the first time he met the Guptas. He first met them in 2009 after Ace Magashule became premier of the Free State. He had accompanied him while they were in Johannesburg at the time to give a copy of his ID document at the Sahara offices owned by the Guptas. Mxolisi Dukwana, who is the former MEC of the Free State joins us from Welkom.
